This beetle gets eaten—and walks out.

A water beetle can be swallowed by a frog and still crawl through the digestive tract toward the exit; when researchers fixed its legs, the beetles died inside instead. 1

Across six frog species, 79% of swallowed adult beetles escaped alive within 7 hours, while dead beetles were excreted 19–161 hours later. 2

The measured 79% result comes from laboratory trials of this beetle, so it describes this escape specialist rather than every beetle or frog.
