Gemini Canvas: turn a rough idea into something editable

If a request should become a document, app, slide deck, or code project, a normal chat reply is a weak stopping point. Gemini Canvas gives the work a place to build: open it from gemini.google.com with Add files → Canvas, enter a prompt, and submit 1. You can revise text, inspect app code, and export the result to Docs, Colab, or a copied block.

Try it with one brief you keep rewriting. Ask for a specific output, edit one section, then export or share it. Shared Canvas links open on the web rather than in the Gemini mobile app, so check the destination before sending the link.
