A bite-sized daily Mandarin learning podcast built around short, funny conversations between office coworkers. Each episode presents an original comedic scenario entirely in Mandarin at roughly middle-school fluency level, spotlighting professional office jargon and how to express English-style humor and wit in Chinese. Every episode must feature at least one regional dialect or accent variation (e.g. Cantonese-influenced Mandarin, Sichuan dialect, Shanghainese expressions, Northeastern hua, etc.) and weave in at least one reference to traditional Chinese culture or folklore. The episode closes with a dedicated explainer segment narrated in a warm female Northern British English voice that translates and clearly explains every Chinese joke, jargon term, idiom, regional phrase, and cultural/folklore reference used — so nothing is lost in translation. Humor should bridge English comedic sensibilities with authentic Chinese comedic expression, not merely literal joke translation.
