Netherlands changed the Group F picture in one half-hour burst. Brian Brobbey scored twice inside 17 minutes, Cody Gakpo added two more after halftime, and the Oranje turned a pressure match against Sweden into a 5-1 statement win. Germany's path was tighter: Franck Kessié put Ivory Coast ahead, then Deniz Undav came off the bench to score in the 68th minute and again in stoppage time for a 2-1 win. 1 2
Cutoff for this update: 22:00 UTC on June 20. This issue adds the completed Netherlands-Sweden and Germany-Ivory Coast finals since the previous 07:00 UTC update. ESPN's schedule still had Ecuador vs. Curaçao as a fixture rather than a completed result at cutoff, so that match stays out of the tables until the next update. 3

Next matches to watch

Ecuador vs. Curaçao is the immediate Group E loose end because it was not a final at the 22:00 UTC cutoff. After that, ESPN's schedule lists Tunisia vs. Japan as the next Group F match, followed by a June 21 slate that includes Spain vs. Saudi Arabia, Belgium vs. Iran, Uruguay vs. Cape Verde and New Zealand vs. Egypt. 3
The standings pressure is different in each case. Ecuador and Curaçao are both still on 0 points in Group E; Japan can move above Sweden in Group F with a win; Group G and Group H are still waiting for any team to separate from one-point traffic. 6
