Evening, and welcome back to The Full Time Report. The club season is still only clearing its throat, but the football calendar has stopped whispering. Manchester City have tied Phil Foden down until twenty thirty, Arsenal have a proper defensive concern after William Saliba was ruled out for an extended period, and Ipswich have added another piece to what is starting to look like a very serious promotion follow-up job. Then there is Europe. UEFA's Champions League qualifying schedule gave us three more first legs on Wednesday, with Omonia, Levski Sofia and Celje all taking a story into the return matches. The bigger scores came on Tuesday, where Lech Poznan, Sturm Graz and Crvena Zvezda all made their ties look rather one-sided, at least for the moment. And one thing to flag right at the top: there were no Europa League results to report from Wednesday. The next round starts on Thursday, so we will have a quick look ahead to that rather busy evening as well. Let's get into it.
