ABSTRUSE：难懂到跟不上

今天的 GRE 词是 abstruse。Magoosh 的 GRE 词汇页把它解释为「difficult to understand; incomprehensible」；Merriam-Webster 也给出同一个核心义：difficult to comprehend。12

1. 核心义：hard to follow abstruse 不只是「高级」。GRE 里它更常形容一种理解门槛：理论、证明、文章、解释都可能 abstruse，意思是读者跟不上。

2. 例句：优雅不等于清楚 The proof was elegant, but nobody could follow it. 如果一个证明很漂亮，却让全屋沉默，它就不是 clear，而是 abstruse。
