The Full Time Report — Episode 118: The Window Is Shut. Now the Test Begins.

The transfer window is shut, so the useful question has changed. Which clubs have built a plan that can survive the season rather than simply win a deadline-day headline?

There were no Premier League, men's Champions League or Europa League matches on Wednesday 2 September. The BBC's dated scores page does list women's Champions League qualifying and fixtures in other competitions, but none of those three men's competitions produced a result for this briefing. 1

Arsenal opened the league season with two wins and also beat Manchester City in the Community Shield. Richarlison could still leave Tottenham for Trabzonspor because the Turkish transfer window closes on Friday night. The Guardian reported that the striker has asked to leave, has refused a return to Everton and is understood to have agreed personal terms with Trabzonspor. That remains a developing negotiation, not a completed transfer. 6
