Checked at 7:00 a.m. Pacific on July 17, 2026. This is an MPB-led snapshot. eBay sold history and KEH’s live inventory were not accessible in this pass, so the six-month figures below are observed floor checkpoints from this radar, not a claim to represent every completed sale across every marketplace. MPB’s own Price Index supports 3-, 6-, 12-, and 36-month trend views and updates daily, but the model-level chart values were not exposed in the readable page capture. 1

Sony E-mount still has the best headline glass: the FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM is holding a $429 floor with 34 units. Nikon’s more interesting move is the Zf body, down to $1,409 from the $1,469 floor this radar recorded in May. Canon EF remains a supply story: 121 copies of the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II are still sitting in MPB’s pool.

One grading rule before we start: MPB uses its own five-step vocabulary, including Like New, Excellent, Good, Well Used, and Heavily Used. I am not silently translating those into KEH BGN or EX. On several pages, the live product range is visible but the exact grade of the cheapest unit is not. That is a buying condition, not a detail to hand-wave away. 2

Price history: The radar saw the Zf at $1,469 in May; today’s MPB model page starts at $1,409, with a live spread of $1,409–$1,619 and 41 units. 3 That is a meaningful $60 break, not a rounding error.

Condition signal: The visible $1,619 cards are MPB Excellent and show shutter counts from 4,084 to 19,672. The $1,409 floor card was not exposed in the readable listing view, so I would not assume its grade or actuations. If MPB confirms Good or better and gives you a sane shutter count, this is the body to pull the trigger on. If the floor is Well Used or the count is missing, step up to the Excellent tier or wait.

Why now: The price is moving while the model still has a substantial 41-unit pool. That looks like a real repricing window, not a single private seller trying to clear a camera.

Pair it with: The Nikon Z 28mm f/2.8 at the current $84 floor below. A Zf plus that tiny native prime is a genuinely compact full-frame street kit, provided the lens passes the same grade check.

Price history: The X-T5 was $1,519 in the radar’s June 7 checkpoint; the current MPB page starts at $1,449, with 87 units and a $1,449–$1,599 spread. 4 The observed floor range is therefore $1,449–$1,519 in this tracking window.

Condition signal: The current page’s readable cards include Like New stock, but the $1,449 floor grade is not exposed and MPB does not disclose a shutter count in the captured model view. That makes this a click-through deal, not a blind checkout. Ask for the exact SKU, condition photos, and actuation count. If it is Good or Excellent, $1,449 is the more interesting stills buy than chasing an X-H2 that has already shown a floor bounce.

Why now: This is an inventory repricing with 87 bodies, not a scarcity play. The discount is useful because it changes the X-T5/X-H2 decision; it is not useful because the seller is manufacturing urgency.

Pair it with: The XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR, currently surfaced by MPB at $604–$744 on its Fuji inventory pages. 5

Price history: This is the least dramatic but most convincing hold. The FE 16-35/2.8 GM entered the tracker at $429 on June 19 and was still $429 on June 26. It remains $429 today, with 34 units across a $429–$1,349 range. 6

Condition signal: MPB’s higher visible cards are Like New, but the $429 copy’s grade is not exposed. For this lens, inspect the front element for haze or separation, check zoom-ring torque, and test AF at both ends. Shutter count is not applicable. A clean, functional Good-grade GM at $429 is a real opening; a mechanically rough copy is not.

Why now: The floor has survived a full month of tracking without bouncing. That is stronger evidence than a one-day crash, and the 34-unit pool means you can reject a lemon rather than rationalize it.

Pair it with: Sony’s FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS, which MPB’s current Sony pages surface from $444. 7

Price history: The Z 28/2.8 moved from $169 to $84 in the June 19–26 window, after a prior $154 floor. It is still $84 today, with 22 units and a current $84–$189 spread. 8 The observed floor range is $84–$169.

Condition signal: The page confirms higher Like New stock, not the $84 unit’s grade. At this price, the risk is condition variance, not a known model-level defect captured in this pass. Check the actual SKU photos, mount wear, focusing noise, and front/rear element condition. If it is MPB Good or better, buy. If it is heavily worn, the $189 Like New copy is a different deal and should be judged separately.

Pair it with: Nikon’s Zf at $1,409. That is the low-cost, low-bulk Z-mount pairing this week.

Price history: This lens has moved through $844, $764, $734, and $639 floor checkpoints in the radar’s six-month window. MPB now shows 121 copies from $639 to $1,529. 9

Condition signal: The current page exposes Excellent examples at $1,449 and Like New examples at $1,499–$1,529, but not the $639 unit’s grade. That huge spread is the whole story. For a working shooter, test IS, AF, zoom smoothness, tripod-collar wear, and every glass surface. Shutter count is not applicable.

Why now: One hundred twenty-one units means the institutional selloff has not cleared. There is no reason to panic-buy a rough copy when the dealer has alternatives. This is a wait unless you need the lens for a job and MPB confirms Good or better with clean optics and functioning stabilization.

Pair it with: Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM stock is currently surfaced at $106–$122 in MPB’s Canon inventory. 10

The best clean lead is the Nikon Zf at $1,409, but only after MPB gives you the floor SKU’s grade and shutter count. The best glass value remains the Sony FE 16-35mm GM at $429, where the month-long hold earns confidence. The Canon EF telephoto is a real low, but the 121-unit glut gives buyers leverage. MPB’s current product pages show a free six-month warranty, free shipping, and an 「Excellent」 Trustpilot claim; the exact return window was not visible in this capture, so confirm it before checkout. 11

The rule this week is simple: the price is verified, but the cheapest SKU is not automatically the deal. Open the card, read the grade, and buy the copy rather than the headline.
