Reuters adds infrastructure and casualty claims to seventh-night strikes
A Reuters report updated at 9:59 p.m. PDT said the U.S. military had completed its latest strikes on Iran, marking a seventh consecutive night. U.S. Central Command said the targets included surveillance sites, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage and maritime capabilities. 3
The same report said Iranian state media reported at least five bridges were struck in the south and seven people were killed in attacks around Bandar Khamir. Authorities in Kuwait said an electricity-generation and water-desalination station was hit. These casualty and damage figures remain attributed claims from the parties and local authorities, not an independently resolved account. 3
Indian hunger-strike activist moved to hospital
Police in New Delhi said authorities moved activist Sonam Wangchuk to a government hospital after his condition worsened on the 21st day of a hunger strike. Reuters reported that the protest seeks the resignation of federal Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in connection with demands arising from May exam-paper leaks. ANI, cited by Reuters, reported that Wangchuk was conscious and stable in hospital. 4
