No new Amex Offers dropped in the past 24 hours, but 9 active offers remain enrollable today — led by IHG Hotels ($50 back on $250+, expires May 26) and Expedia prepaid hotels (10% back, up to $125). Includes stacking strategies, the May 13 Amex Offers UI redesign, and two confirmed benefit cuts with hard deadlines.

No new Amex Offers landed in the past 24 hours, but several confirmed ones are still open, one expires in 11 days, and two benefit cuts have deadlines worth marking on your calendar now.

Active Amex Offers — quick-scan table

All offers below require enrollment. Availability varies by account; some are widely targeted across Membership Rewards-earning cards, others are more selective. Check your Amex account or app to confirm which ones appear for you.

A few notes on the table:
IHG is the most time-sensitive. At 11 days until expiry, this is the one offer worth checking today. The $250 threshold can be met across multiple stays. Approximately 70 IHG properties are excluded — the full list is at americanexpress.com/ihgamexoffer. Reservations must be made directly through IHG (IHG.com, IHG App, or phone). 1
July Luggage terms discrepancy. The headline on the publicly featured Amex Offers page reads "Spend $300 or more," but the actual offer terms require a $600 minimum. Trust the $600 figure. 2
adidas points offer ends May 31. At +6 MR pts/$ on top of your base earning rate, this stacks well with any planned footwear or apparel purchase before month-end. 3
YouTube TV triggers monthly, not once. Unlike most Amex Offers that fire a single credit, this one applies each billing cycle — up to three times — so enrolling today captures all three windows if you stay subscribed through July 15. 3

Stacking strategies — getting more from these offers

Community members on r/amex have validated several techniques that work alongside the offers above. These are cardholder-reported data points, not guarantees from Amex.
Expedia + shopping portal. FrequentMiler notes that clicking through a cashback portal (Rakuten has been confirmed compatible with a previous similar offer) before manually navigating to expedia.com/amex may stack portal cashback on top of the 10% Amex credit. The portal click must come first; entering the Amex URL directly afterward preserves offer eligibility. 4
Alltrails Plus chain. An r/amex post from May 5 (231 upvotes) laid out a three-step stack: enroll in the Alltrails Plus membership Amex Offer (50% off, approximately $20/year after discount) → use the Plus membership benefit to get the America the Beautiful National Park Annual Pass at half price → add Rakuten or Capital One Shopping for additional cashback on the initial purchase. Community member u/thisissamuelclemens confirmed the offer applies to the Plus membership subscription only — Alltrails gear purchases are excluded from the offer terms. 5
Authorized user card pools. Each authorized user card on your account holds an independent Amex Offers pool — a different selection of up to 100 offers, which may include offers that also appear on your primary card. User u/ChillyCheese explained:
"If you have authorized users, they get their own completely separate offers and you can use both the primary card and authorized user card(s) to get offers multiple times."
6
Split payment for dining stacks. Dining at a restaurant where you have both an active Amex Offer and a Resy credit? Splitting the check into two separate charges can trigger both credits simultaneously. User u/Setz3R reported doing this at Kona Grill — a $110 bill split across two charges triggered a $10×2 Amex Offer and a $100 Resy dining credit at the same time. 6
The 100-offer visibility cap. Your Amex account surfaces only 100 of your available offers at any given time. User u/ChillyCheese noted that a card may carry 400+ offers while showing just the top 100. A browser extension that bulk-adds all visible offers in one pass — and then lets you refresh to expose the next batch — is the most reliable way to avoid missing an offer that never appeared in your default view. 6

Platform update — the "+" button is now live

On or around May 13, 2026, Amex updated the Amex Offers interface. The "Add to Card" button is replaced by a "+" icon next to each offer. 7
Tapping "+" adds the offer instantly without a page reload. For anyone bulk-adding a full batch of offers, that removes a meaningful amount of friction. UpgradedPoints described it as "a smart, practical update" that should encourage cardholders to take fuller advantage of the rotating lineup of deals. 7
The 100-offer visibility cap remains unchanged. Using the browser-extension method from the stacking section above is still the only way to reach offers beyond the first 100.

Upcoming benefit cuts — use these before the deadlines

Two confirmed benefit changes are on the calendar. Both have hard use-by dates.
Saks Fifth Avenue $50 credit — last window closes June 30, 2026. 8
American Express announced on March 30, 2026 that the annual Shop Saks benefit — up to $100 per year ($50 January–June, $50 July–December) — will be removed from the consumer Platinum Card on July 1, 2026. The July–December 2026 credit window will simply not exist. The January–June 2026 window is still live through June 30 for all cardholders, new and existing. No minimum purchase is required; enrollment is required. Amex has said new Platinum-specific Amex Offers will replace the benefit starting July 1, but has not named any merchants.
Lufthansa lounge access — use by September 30, 2026. 9
Starting October 1, 2026, Amex Platinum and Centurion cardholders lose access to Lufthansa lounges at Frankfurt Airport (Terminal 1, Departure Area B) and Munich Airport (Terminal 2 satellite building). Current access rules that remain valid through September 30:
  • Economy class on Lufthansa, SWISS, or Austrian Airlines → Lufthansa Business Lounge
  • Business class on the same carriers → Senator Lounge
  • Centurion cardholders on any Lufthansa Group cabin → first-class lounge
Authorized users also lose access on October 1. No replacement lounge access has been announced for either airport.

On the radar — targeted offers to check in your account

The following offers have been reported by cardholders but are not universally available. Open your Amex account or app to see if any of them appear on your card.
  • Marriott: $150 statement credit after $375 spend at most Marriott brands in North America, reportedly valid through July 22, 2026. Reported on Instagram; not independently verified by major aggregators as of May 15. 3
  • Hilton: 20–40% discount offers confirmed as targeted. A significant portion of cardholders report not seeing them. 10
  • CLEAR+ (TSA PreCheck enrollment program): 50% back on a membership, up to $300. Reported on Threads and DannyDealGuru. 3
  • Preferred Hotels & Resorts: $100 statement credit after $500+ spend. Targeted; reported on Reddit. 3
High-value hotel offers (Hilton, Marriott) have historically been distributed selectively. r/amex discussions from April showed cardholders with Centurion accounts were more likely to see premium hotel offers, though this pattern is anecdotal rather than confirmed by Amex. 10
