Image 1 recasts The Wizard of Oz as a 1940s noir one-sheet: Dorothy becomes a raincoat detective, the yellow brick road turns into a wet alley curve, and Oz glows like a dangerous city at the end of the street. The source film is a 1939 American musical fantasy, produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and primarily directed by Victor Fleming. 1
Image 2 keeps the original poster visible for comparison: the cast portrait row, musical staff curves, side vignettes, and oversized title block stay readable as the composition the remix is answering. 2
