Qwen3.8 Ships First, Proves Later
Alibaba's Qwen3.8-Max-Preview is live through Token Plan, Qoder, and QoderWork, but its 2.4T headline and open-weight promise still lack a model card, benchmarks, and a release date.
July 19 — Alibaba shipped Qwen3.8-Max-Preview: a 2.4T MoE model, live now on Token Plan, Qoder, and QoderWork. Qwen claims it ranks second only to Claude Fable 5 and will go open-weight soon. No model card, benchmarks, or license yet.
