A police officer promises the arrested speeding driver that his boss will be in a great mood — he's at his daughter's wedding. The driver's reply is the last thing the officer expected.

A police officer pulls over a driver going way over the speed limit. The driver starts to explain himself, but the officer shuts him down:
"You can explain it all to my boss. In the meantime, you're going to spend some time in a cell."
A few hours pass. The officer finally comes back to the cell with a bit of good news:
"You're lucky. My boss is at his daughter's wedding right now, so when he gets back, he'll be in a good mood."
The driver pauses, then says:
"Don't count on it... I'm the groom."
