SFO deal radar June 7 — United to Miami nonstop, Singapore Airlines to Bali
Two new fares from June 5 lead today's board: United nonstop SFO↔Miami at $249 Basic Economy / $359 Regular Economy (Day 2, still bookable), and Singapore Airlines SFO→Bali at $930 roundtrip via Singapore for April 2027 (Day 2). Both represent 30–42% savings vs. baseline. The two SAS carryovers (Vienna $634 BE, Riga $681 BE) have rolled to Day 3 and are flagged as likely expired. On the points side, the Marriott Bonvoy → United 25% transfer bonus is the clearest SFO-relevant sweet spot; Citi ThankYou → Preferred Hotels (30%) and Wyndham (25%) expire June 13.

Two new fares posted June 5 lead today's board: United's nonstop SFO↔Miami at $249 Basic Economy ($359 Regular Economy), and Singapore Airlines SFO→Bali at $930 roundtrip via Singapore. Both are Day 2 and should still be bookable. The SAS Vienna and Riga carryovers from yesterday roll into Day 3 today — past The Flight Deal's own two-day freshness window, so treat them as expired unless you verify prices live.
On the points side, the Marriott Bonvoy → United 25% transfer bonus is the clearest SFO-relevant sweet spot this week, given United's hub position at SFO. Citi ThankYou → Preferred Hotels and Wyndham both expire June 13 — six days out.

New fares — posted June 5
United SFO ↔ Miami (MIA) — $249 BE / $359 RE nonstop roundtrip
United Airlines posted this June 5. 2
Route: SFO → MIA nonstop, valid in both directions. Fare class: N (Basic Economy), G (Regular Economy). Travel window: Now through early December 2026, or January–April 2027. 7-day advance purchase required. Sample dates: July 9–15.
Baseline: SFO–MIA roundtrip typically runs $400–500. The $249 BE fare saves roughly $150–250 (30–50%).
Baggage and restrictions: Basic Economy does not allow advance seat assignment — your seat is assigned randomly at check-in. Carry-on bags of standard size are charged $50 per direction unless you hold a United co-branded credit card or have United elite status. Miles accrual is blocked on BE unless you have United status or a co-branded card (fare class N). Regular Economy at $359 includes advance seat assignment and a standard carry-on at no extra charge. 2
The Flight Deal flagged this as "a good sale to / from Miami" and specifically noted the $359 Regular Economy option: "The $359 is the Regular Economy fare with advance seat assignment and normal size carry-on." 2
No published booking deadline. TFD's standard guidance applies: fares more than two days old are often gone. This is Day 2 — book today.

Singapore Airlines SFO → Bali (DPS) — $930 roundtrip via Singapore
Singapore Airlines (SQ, Star Alliance) posted this June 5. 3
Route: SFO – SIN (Singapore Changi) – DPS (Ngurah Rai, Bali) – SIN – SFO. Fare class: K. Travel window: April 2027 only. 7-day advance purchase required. Sample dates: April 6–15, 2027.
Baseline: SFO–Bali roundtrip typically runs $1,300–1,600. This fare saves roughly $370–670 (28–42%).
Booking note: ITA Matrix (Airfare Search by ITA Software, a fare research tool commonly used by deal trackers) prices this itinerary at $1,010. Booking directly at singaporeair.com reprices to $930. 3
Stopovers: Up to two stopovers permitted at $50 each — a way to add a Singapore leg without paying full fare for a separate ticket.
Miles accrual: Singapore Airlines economy K class does not earn United MileagePlus redeemable miles. SQ KrisFlyer miles accrue on this fare. The flight distance is 18,946 miles roundtrip.
Baggage: Singapore Airlines international economy includes at least one 23 kg checked bag per direction (SQ standard; the individual posting did not specify a different allowance). Visa: US passport holders can enter Indonesia on visa-on-arrival.
No published booking deadline. Day 2 — book today.

SAS Vienna and Riga — Day 3, treat as expired
The two SAS fares from June 4 — Vienna at $634 BE / $734 RE and Riga at $681 BE / $781 RE — are now on Day 3. The Flight Deal's own note is that fares posted more than two days ago are likely gone. Yesterday's article covered both in full. If you want to try them, check flysas.com directly before assuming availability. 4 5
Also no longer on the board: Asiana SFO→Shanghai $779 (Day 4, expired) and Delta SFO→Martha's Vineyard $301 BE / $411 RE (Day 4, expired).
Points and miles
Marriott Bonvoy → United — 25% transfer bonus, good for SFO travelers
Marriott Bonvoy is running a 25% bonus on transfers to United MileagePlus through June 30, 2026. Registration is required before transferring. 6
Math: 60,000 Marriott Bonvoy points transfer to 20,000 United base miles, plus a standard 10,000-mile Marriott-United partnership bonus, plus 5,000 (the 25% promo bonus on the base 20,000) = 35,000 United miles total. The 25% promo bonus caps at 25,000 bonus miles. Bonus miles are projected to post by January 31, 2027 (possibly earlier, per Frequent Miler's estimate of around September 2026). 6
United is SFO's dominant carrier. Frequent Miler's Stephen Pepper put it plainly: "That's certainly not a no-brainer transaction, but it might make sense if you have an abundance of Marriott points and have a high value United redemption in mind." 6 The registration link is at promo.united.com.

Citi ThankYou → Preferred Hotels & Wyndham (expires June 13): Citi ThankYou Rewards (earned on cards such as the Citi Strata Elite) transfers to Preferred Hotels & Resorts I Prefer at a 30% bonus (1,000 points → 2,600 I Prefer points) and to Wyndham Rewards at 25% (1,000 points → 1,250 Wyndham points). These are the only two bonuses on the current board that expire before June 30. Frequent Miler's standard caution applies: "In general, you should only transfer from a transferable points program if you have a specific high-value use in mind for the transferred miles or points." 7
Flying Blue note: SFO remains absent from Flying Blue's June 2026 Promo Rewards list (25%-discounted economy awards to Europe). The Amex MR → Flying Blue 25% transfer bonus runs through June 30, but without SFO in the Promo Rewards pool, SFO travelers can't stack the two benefits this month. July's Promo Rewards list hasn't been published yet. 8
Program changes
Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards partner booking fee: $12.50 → $20, effective July 1. Alaska Airlines (operating its frequent flyer program as Atmos Rewards) is raising the per-passenger, per-direction fee for booking partner awards from $12.50 to $20 — a 60% increase. A roundtrip award for two passengers goes from $50 total in fees to $80 total. The fee applies to partner airline bookings (carriers such as Japan Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Qantas, and British Airways), all of which are relevant for SFO long-haul routes. 9
A separate change takes effect sooner: starting June 11, Saver fares (Alaska's Basic Economy equivalent) will no longer earn Atmos miles or qualifying status credits.
If you have Alaska partner awards in mind, booking before July 1 locks in the current $12.50 rate per one-way segment.
Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer business class seat restriction (effective June 2). Singapore Airlines now restricts advance seat selection for Business Class passengers on Saver Awards, Advantage Awards, and Business Lite cash fares: only seats in the rear portion of the business cabin are available at booking. On a Boeing 777-300ER with 12 business class rows, the first 6 rows are blocked until 96 hours before departure. PPS Club members (Singapore Airlines' elite tier for high-spending passengers) are not affected. 10
Ben Schlappig (One Mile at a Time, a points and miles analysis publication) noted: "This strikes me as being rather un-Singapore Airlines (for an airline that's known for being classily full service at all times)." 10 Given Singapore Airlines' SFO nonstop route and today's Bali deal (which routes through Singapore), this policy is worth knowing if you're ever booking SQ business class on KrisFlyer miles.
