Both index fingers twist toward each other — that's how you sign PAIN in ASL.
Crooked index fingers, face each other at chest level.
Then both wrists rotate in opposite directions simultaneously — like unscrewing a jar lid with both hands at once.
The sign isn't fixed to one spot. Move it to your head for a headache.
Stomach for a stomachache. Shoulder, knee, anywhere. The location tells the story.
