Iran-Gulf attacks renew; shipping claims conflict

Reuters reported at 8:55 p.m. PDT that Iran had renewed attacks on U.S. Gulf allies after the seventh straight night of U.S. strikes. The U.S. Central Command said its latest strikes targeted surveillance sites, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage and maritime capabilities. 2
The shipping picture remains contested. Reuters reported that the U.S. said it was enforcing a naval blockade, had redirected four commercial vessels, disabled one and boarded another. Iran's Revolutionary Guards said four vessels were stopped for violating its rules for Strait of Hormuz traffic. Those are competing claims in an active conflict, not an independently resolved account. 2
