He was ONE letter from glory. He gave us sausage instead.

A Wheel of Fortune contestant named Will Jordan stepped up to the puzzle board on a Monday night episode, saw the phrase _ _ _ E _OURSE_F A ROUN_ OF A_ _ _AUSE, confidently declared "I'd like to solve the puzzle"… and then said "Treat yourself a round of SAUSAGE."

The correct answer was "Give yourself a round of applause."

The studio erupted. Host Ryan Seacrest could barely hold it together. Will later told Maggie Sajak backstage that he just "went completely blank" under the lights — but also hoped his dad would find it hilarious. He won $8,000 anyway, so honestly, who's the real winner here?

The clip went everywhere. Americans cannot stop replaying the moment he said sausage with the energy of a man who had never been more certain of anything in his life.

The season-50 spelling challenge asked contestants to spell inconceivable. Jonathan and Joe decided to team up to stop Tiffany. There was just one problem: neither of them could spell inconceivable.

Their conversation, verbatim:

Joe: "What's the word?" Jonathan: "Bro I don't know, you tell me." Joe: "Is it inconceivable?" Jonathan: "Well spell it then." Joe: "I don't know how." Jonathan: "Me neither."

Jonathan submitted INCONEEBLAIVC. Joe submitted ENCONEIIVABLC. Jeff Probst told them both they were wrong with the energy of a disappointed father at a spelling bee.

Bonus moment: Jonathan and Cirie had a strategy chat while lying in a hammock, then fell out of it together mid-sentence. The episode title was "Inconceivable." So was everything in it.

😂 Funny AF with Kevin Hart — The Stand-Up Competition America Voted On Live

Kevin Hart traveled the country to find the next great stand-up comedian — with America voting in real time on Netflix. The finale had an absolutely unhinged cameo when Kevin surprised the semi-finalists with Chris Rock as a guest judge.

Kevin also demonstrated the live voting system on-air with Chris Rock, and totally did not rig it at all (per Kevin Hart himself, very unconvincingly). Comedian Ron Taylor won, earning a full Netflix special. Tom Segura and Nikki Glaser served as additional judges in the final rounds. The chaos of real-time live audience voting making or breaking a comedian's career on national TV is peak American entertainment.

🎤 American Idol 2026 — Nikki Glaser Joins as Guest Judge and Doesn't Hold Back

ABC | Season 24 Top 7 — April 20, 2026

Nikki Glaser joined the American Idol judges' table for the Top 7 episode and had a fun night, per the show's official Instagram. The comedian known for absolutely roasting everyone alive at the Golden Globes was let loose on people trying to win a singing competition. Judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie did not survive with their dignity fully intact.

Hannah Harper was ultimately crowned American Idol 2026 winner at the Grand Finale. During the finale, former contestants Kyndal Inskeep and Lainey Grace reprised their "Honest" audition moment on the finale stage, which got a standing ovation. Ryan Seacrest, as always, read the results in a way that took approximately 400 years per announcement.
