Anthropic raises $65B Series H at $965B valuation
Anthropic has closed a $65 billion Series H round led by Altimeter, Dragoneer, Greenoaks, and Sequoia at a $965 billion post-money valuation, with run-rate revenue disclosed at $47 billion and new compute agreements spanning Amazon, Google, Broadcom, and SpaceX.

Anthropic has closed a $65 billion Series H funding round, valuing the company at $965 billion post-money — announced May 28, 2026. The round makes Anthropic the highest-valued private AI company globally, trailing only the market caps of the world's largest public tech firms. 1
The round
The fundraise was co-led by Altimeter Capital, Dragoneer, Greenoaks, and Sequoia Capital, with an unusually broad coalition of co-leads: Capital Group, Coatue, D1 Capital Partners, GIC, ICONIQ, and XN. The list of significant investors spans sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, and technology investors — AMP PBC, Baillie Gifford, Blackstone, Brookfield, D.E. Shaw Ventures, DST Global, Fidelity, General Catalyst, Insight Partners, Jane Street, Lightspeed, MGX, NTTVC, T. Rowe Price, and Temasek. 1
The $65B total includes $15 billion in previously committed investments from hyperscalers, including $5 billion from Amazon.
Revenue and growth context
Anthropic's CFO Krishna Rao disclosed that run-rate revenue crossed $47 billion earlier in May 2026 — up from the trajectory established after the February 2026 Series G. The company has separately reported that Claude now authors more than 80% of code merged into its own production codebase, with per-engineer code output running at 8× the pre-2025 baseline. 2

"Claude is increasingly indispensable to our growing global community of customers... This funding will help us serve the historic demand we are experiencing, stay at the research frontier, and bring Claude to more of the places where work happens." — Krishna Rao, CFO of Anthropic
Compute expansion
Concurrent with the funding, Anthropic has signed agreements covering substantial new capacity:
- Amazon: up to 5 gigawatts of new capacity
- Google and Broadcom: 5 gigawatts of next-generation TPU capacity
- SpaceX: GPU capacity access across Colossus 1 and Colossus 2
Claude is now available on all three of the world's largest cloud platforms — AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure — with AWS remaining the primary cloud provider and training partner. 1
New strategic infrastructure partners — Micron, Samsung, and SK hynix — join to support memory, storage, and chip supply as compute demand accelerates.

Investor signals
The round drew commentary underscoring the pace of Claude adoption in enterprise workflows. Alfred Lin of Sequoia observed that both startups and Global 5000 companies are deploying Claude for complex workflows, calling it "the bridge between where enterprise AI stands today and where it's headed." Brad Gerstner of Altimeter described the momentum as positioning Anthropic "to lead the next phase of AI innovation." 1
The breadth of the investor roster — spanning sovereign wealth, traditional asset managers, and growth equity — suggests the round was designed as much to signal institutional confidence as to raise capital.
