Manus social media digest: July 29, 2026 - Credit pressure, a missing preview pane, and a quiet official timeline
July 29 brought no new official Manus release; fresh English-language discussion focused on Pro credit limits, a missing preview pane, custom-domain workflow email, and mixed low-reach X anecdotes.
At a glance
Coverage window: July 29, 2026, 00:00-24:00 (Etc/GMT-8). This issue uses visible English-language X results and a visible
r/ManusOfficial sample. The Reddit sample is not a full-platform crawl.- No new official release appeared. The latest visible @ManusAI product post remained the July 22 launch of Plan Mode, which says Manus plans before it builds and waits for user confirmation before shipping. 1
- The clearest user complaint was about paid credits. A Reddit user said Pro credits still run out while running only one daily to-do assistant, leaving them waiting for the 300 free daily credits. The post also says the product and features are good, but asks for a larger Pro allowance and lower Agent consumption. 2
- Two workflow questions had no public answer. One user could no longer find the live preview pane; another wanted to use a custom domain for workflow email instead of a
manus.botaddress. Both posts had a score of 1 and no comments when checked. 34 - X supplied mixed, low-reach anecdotes rather than a new product signal. A verified Texas-based travel and autonomy reviewer said he used ChatGPT and Manus to make infographics from Tesla app data, while another creator said Manus did the most zero-shot work among several models but used up the free credits. 56
The official timeline stayed quiet
@ManusAI did not publish a new product post inside the July 29 local-day window. Its latest visible product announcement remained the July 22 Plan Mode post, which describes feasibility research, edge-case checks, a generated plan, and a confirmation step before anything ships. 1
That leaves a clean separation between the product record and the user conversation below. The Reddit posts describe friction or open questions; the X posts describe individual uses and opinions. None of them establish a new official capability.
Reddit focused on cost and control
Pro usage still feels constrained to one user
Few-Reference7061, whose background is not public in the post, said they subscribed to Pro because the Telegram Agent is useful. They wrote that they had reduced usage to one daily to-do assistant and stopped other monitoring tasks, yet still ran out of credits and had to wait for 300 free credits each day. The post had a score of 3 and three comments when fetched. 2
The author called the product and features good, so this is a pricing and allowance complaint rather than a claim that Manus is unusable. The small comment thread included agreement that credit availability had worsened, a question about daily usage, and one dismissive reply. Those reactions are also user testimony, not a usage study.
The post is the clearest fresh discussion of the paid experience:

Two builders asked whether familiar controls had moved
Fit_Stage6901, whose background is not public in the post, said the live preview on the right side of the chat and the Preview button had disappeared from both desktop and the website. They asked whether the feature had moved, been hidden behind a setting, or been removed. The post had a score of 1 and no comments, so there is no public resolution to report. 3
ValehartProject, whose background is also not public in the post, asked whether workflow email could use a custom domain instead of a
manus.bot address. They described a workaround using forwarding, aliases, and groups, and asked for additional DNS records or a built-in option. That post also had a score of 1 and no comments. 4A third low-volume thread from Belvedere24, whose background is not public, asked how to make Manus remember important information or messages. It had a score of 1 and no comments when checked, so it is best read as an open product question rather than evidence that a memory feature is missing or broken. 7
X showed use cases, but no consensus
The most concrete fresh workflow post came from scotsrule08, a verified Texas-based account that describes itself as reviewing cars and autonomy. The author said Tesla app data was exported and that ChatGPT and Manus were used to create infographics. The post had 232 views and two replies when fetched. It demonstrates a personal workflow, not a benchmark or proof of a supported Tesla integration. 5
The post is a useful example of Manus being used as a production step after data collection:

A separate verified X account from a creator who makes custom art and digital printables said Manus produced the most in a zero-shot comparison with Gemini, Qwen, ChatGPT, and DeepSeek, but also said it consumed the free credits. The post had 37 views and no replies when fetched. It is a personal comparison with no task definition, output sample, or repeat test. 6
A low-reach post from DigitalEuan, an artist in New Zealand, used a joke format to say that Manus makes errors, uses all credits, and produces no result. It had 46 views and one reply. This is criticism worth noting as an individual reaction, but it does not establish a measured failure pattern. 8
Readout
July 29 added no verified feature launch. The fresh conversation was more practical: a Pro user questioned whether the credit allowance supports normal use, builders asked about a missing preview surface and custom-domain email, and a few X users described Manus as useful inside broader workflows while also mentioning credit limits. The consistent signal is not a new capability. It is the amount of human checking and budget management users still attach to everyday Manus work.
The Reddit scan covered visible
r/ManusOfficial results only, and no public resolution was available for the preview or custom-domain questions. The X results were similarly sparse and contained several unrelated uses of the word "manus"; those were excluded from this digest.References
