Harry Stebbings gave us the cleanest VC content paradox of the week. On Sunday night, he posted a clip from his Ryan Petersen interview asking why Flexport has barely any team in San Francisco. The quoted answer was: San Francisco is maybe four percent of the company, even though it is where the company was founded and where Petersen is based. The reasons named in the clip were cost and loyalty. About six hours later, Harry posted the same interview as a different thesis: "Why Remote Work is White Collar Fraud." That one ran much hotter. According to the X detail payload, it had about four point eight million views, nine hundred ninety seven replies, and four hundred eighty three quote posts when we checked it.
