The strongest small-apartment idea is KLIPPKAKTUS: six lidded boxes are designed to fit on one fridge shelf, which is a rare case of a new product solving a very specific space problem. 1

The time-window caveat matters. IKEA's regional pages show current New status, but they do not expose a first-stocked date for every SKU. This is therefore a current-New watch for July 20–27, not a claim that each item first appeared on a dated day inside that window. The BAGGEBO is 60 cm wide, 30.3 cm deep, and 80 cm high, with a stated maximum load of 12 kg per shelf. Its steel frame and mesh shelves suit books, plants, and small boxes rather than bulky equipment. IKEA calls the bright-green version a limited-edition colour and includes adjustable feet for uneven floors. 7

Price and regional status: $24.99 in the U.S., £19 in the UK, and ¥3,499 in Japan. The exact bright-green listing was not confirmed on the Sweden page. Assembly watch-out: IKEA supplies an assembly guide but does not publish a difficulty rating or time estimate on these product pages. Budget roughly 20–30 minutes for the shelf itself, then allow extra time to anchor it. The useful part for a studio apartment is the depth: it adds a place for small items without consuming floor area. 10

The set contains four 1.6-litre boxes, one 3.2-litre box, and one 4.7-litre box, all with lids. IKEA says the six boxes are designed to fit on one shelf in most standard freestanding fridges. The list includes rice, sauté, steam, bake, boil, yoghurt, soup, stew, porridge, oatmeal, and bread rise, alongside manual mode, keep warm, and slow cook. It measures 21.6 cm high by 25 cm in diameter. 16

Price and regional status: £85 in the UK and 1,195 kr in Sweden. The U.S. and Japan prices for this multicooker were not confirmed in this pass. The UK and Sweden pages show New, but live stock was not available without a location check. 16 17

Assembly watch-out: No furniture assembly. IKEA describes it as plug-and-play, but setup still means reading the programme and safety instructions. The appliance weighs about 3.7–3.9 kg in its package, so keep it somewhere you can lift and store without sacrificing the only clear counter space. 16

Decision: Buy if your laptop is 14 inches or smaller and you want a very cheap protective sleeve. Skip if you carry a charger, notebook, and mouse in the same case: this is a sleeve, not a workstation bag.

The case is sized for a 14-inch screen and measures 35 × 3 × 26 cm externally. The bag and strap use recycled polypropylene, with polyethylene foam padding and a polyester zip. The product page lists a 0.06 kg package weight, which explains why this is better for protection from scratches and knocks than for carrying a full office kit. 18
