Mandala #4 — Be: Berilio

Mandala #4 — Beryllium (Be, element 4). Tight hexagonal crystalline facets in cool gray-green — aerospace-grade precision in geometric form.

Mandala #4 — Be: Berilio (Beryllium)

Element 4 · Be · Berilio
Cool gray-green metal
A hard, light metal with hexagonal crystals — stiff as steel but half the weight, used in telescopes and aerospace.

Beryllium is one of the lightest structural metals. Its HCP crystal structure gives it exceptional stiffness. It was used in the James Webb Space Telescope mirrors. Paradoxically, it is highly toxic — even its dust is dangerous.

50 Mandalas de Elementos Químicos — a sacred geometry digital art series where science and beauty converge. Each mandala's palette, pattern, and structure is inspired by the element's atomic character, crystal structure, reactivity, and visual identity.
