Short Drama Daily Top 10 — June 17, 2026
Today's verified heat radar has 《以爱为家2》 ahead of the pack, with 《少夫人来自东北2》 still holding a strong sequel floor and 《离歌1999》 showing the cleanest IP-remake stability. The issue also flags the riskier heat behind 《香蜜沉沉烬如霜》 and the continuing value of slow, realistic romance titles.
Data note
This issue is built from the freshest public evidence I could verify around the June 16 heat window. Hongguo's 2026 chart system separates hot-play, surging, new-drama, search, must-watch and collection boards; its hot-play board is described as a combined ranking of overall viewing and interaction signals 1. Where a Maoyan Professional title page exposes a June 16 heat reading, I use that number directly and do not convert it into 「wan」. One slot, 《宜嫁宜娶》, remains in the daily radar from public Hongguo hot-list reporting because I could not verify a June 16 Maoyan title page during this run.
June 16 heat table
| Rank | Title | Genre / format | Platform | Episodes | Latest verified heat signal | Why it is moving |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 《以爱为家 2》 / Yi Ai Wei Jia 2 | Campus / modern family | Hongguo exclusive | 98 | Maoyan shows 7,085.48 as the June 16-adjacent 「yesterday heat」, with 7,108.30 as the historical high on June 13 2. | The sequel is turning a family-healing premise into a high-retention daily watch: the official/press line emphasizes the first season's 30B+ total plays and the second season's June 12 Hongguo launch 3. |
| 2 | 《少夫人来自东北 2》 / Shao Fu Ren Lai Zi Dong Bei 2 | Modern youth / regional comedy | Multi-platform | 97 | Maoyan shows 6,878.55 as the latest 「yesterday heat」, with a 7,107.50 historical high on June 10 4. | Its drop from early-week dominance is controlled, not a collapse: the North-East-meets-South-East-Asia sequel still has a simple retention engine — family comedy, cross-cultural friction and recognisable returning leads. |
| 3 | 《离歌 1999》 / Li Ge 1999 | Youth romance / literary IP | Hongguo exclusive | 85 | Maoyan shows June 16 heat at 6,561.10 and a historical high of 6,574.57 on June 14 5. | This is the most stable IP remake in the upper tier: the gap between its high and June 16 reading is tiny, and Maoyan lists Rao Xueman as both chief writer and writer, making the adaptation signal unusually clear. |
| 4 | 《我在风花雪月里等你》 / Wo Zai Feng Hua Xue Yue Li Deng Ni | Urban healing romance | Multi-platform | 99 | Maoyan shows June 16 heat at 6,361.28, after a June 12 peak of 6,488.82 6. | It is benefiting from a softer escapist lane: Shanghai burnout, departure for Dali, and a scenic healing premise that differs from the revenge/contract-marriage cluster. |
| 5 | 《京婚有染》 / Jing Hun You Ran | Urban romance / amnesia marriage | Hongguo exclusive | 68 | Maoyan shows 6,316.06 as the latest 「yesterday heat」 and 6,366.19 as its high on June 13 7. | The opening hook is still strong — a couple wakes from an accident to discover a five-year marriage and twins — but the curve is already below the weekend launch ceiling, so this is a watch-for-decay title. |
| 6 | 《星光落渔火》 / Xing Guang Luo Yu Huo | Romance / coastal light comedy | Hongguo exclusive | 81 | Maoyan shows June 16 heat at 6,166.73, also its historical high so far 8. | This is the day's cleanest climber: a fake-marriage setup between an actress and a hidden-identity fisherman is still gaining rather than fading. |
| 7 | 《预谋的月光》 / Yu Mou De Yue Guang | Romance / short-form drama | Hongguo exclusive | 75 | Maoyan shows 6,153.00 as the latest 「yesterday heat」 after a June 11 peak of 6,456.28 9. | The title has left its peak but remains high because the premise is immediately legible: mutual scheming, marriage-as-strategy and a male lead who appears passive while controlling the board. |
| 8 | 《东北爱情往事 2》 / Dong Bei Ai Qing Wang Shi 2 | Romance / North-East period setting | Hongguo exclusive | 91 | Maoyan shows June 16 heat at 5,934.53, down from a June 10 historical high of 6,611.21 10. | It is now a long-tail regional-IP title rather than the day's challenger: still in the pack, but no longer setting the pace. |
| 9 | 《香蜜沉沉烬如霜》 / Xiang Mi Chen Chen Jin Ru Shuang | Short-drama IP remake | Multi-platform | 80 | Maoyan shows June 16 heat at 5,916.44, after a June 15 high of 6,063.98 11. | Its heat is controversy-assisted. Trade media reported 1.335M reservations and a first-day Hongguo heat-chart win, while also noting heavy criticism around the long-drama-to-short-drama adaptation 12. |
| 10 | 《宜嫁宜娶》 / Yi Jia Yi Qu | Urban marriage romance | Hongguo | 83+ public listing | Public reporting put the June 7 launch at 70.35M Hongguo heat, new-drama #2 and hot-play #3; I did not verify a June 16 Maoyan page for this slot 13. | It stays in the radar because its value is qualitative as much as numeric: a slow, detail-heavy contract-marriage story that is holding conversation as a 「realistic」 alternative to louder melodrama. |
What changed at the top
The headline shift is not simply that 《以爱为家 2》 is ahead. It is that the upper band now has three different retention models competing at once: family realism at #1, regional sequel comedy at #2, and literary IP nostalgia at #3. 《以爱为家 2》 has the cleanest public momentum story: Sina's report says the second season landed on Hongguo on June 12, while the first season had already crossed 30B total plays and opened a loyal audience pool for the sequel 3.
《少夫人来自东北 2》 is no longer the automatic #1, but its Maoyan reading remains high enough to show that the sequel floor is still strong 4. The important point for producers: a sequel can lose the daily crown and still be extremely valuable if it decays slowly.
Mid-chart: IP and everyday romance are squeezing each other
《离歌 1999》 is the best example of stable nostalgia demand. Its June 16 heat is only 13.47 points below its historical high, and Maoyan's production credits tie the short drama directly to Rao Xueman's original literary IP 5. That makes it different from looser nostalgia plays: the audience is not only recognising a title, it is being sold authorial continuity.
The counterweight is everyday romance. 《我在风花雪月里等你》 uses Dali, burnout and escape-from-the-city healing instead of revenge pressure 6. 《星光落渔火》 does the lighter version: an actress in reputational trouble, a coastal village, fake marriage and hidden identity, with Maoyan showing its June 16 number as the title's high so far 8.
Lower chart: older hits are becoming retention tests
《预谋的月光》, 《东北爱情往事 2》 and 《香蜜沉沉烬如霜》 are now three different decay stories. 《预谋的月光》 is down from its June 11 peak but still above 6,100 on the latest Maoyan reading 9. 《东北爱情往事 2》 has fallen more visibly from its June 10 high but remains near 5,900 10. 《香蜜》 is more volatile: the IP name and controversy gave it enough launch oxygen to stay in the list, but the LMTW analysis makes clear that heat and satisfaction are not the same thing 12.
Three structural patterns to watch tomorrow
- Family realism is the current strongest antidote to formula fatigue. 《以爱为家 2》 does not rely on extreme revenge, class humiliation or a shock reveal every few minutes. Its advantage is that viewers understand the emotional contract before they even start.
- The sequel premium is flattening, not disappearing. 《少夫人来自东北 2》 and 《东北爱情往事 2》 both remain relevant, but the chart is no longer letting North-East regional IP monopolise the summit.
- Long-drama IP is powerful, but unstable. 《离歌 1999》 is holding because it gives viewers literary continuity; 《香蜜》 is hot because it gives viewers a famous title and an argument. Those are very different engines.
Watch next: if 《星光落渔火》 holds above 6,000 for another day, it becomes the most credible non-sequel breakout in the current pack. If 《离歌 1999》 stays within 2% of its peak, it will be the cleanest proof this month that old youth IP can work in vertical-drama pacing without immediately burning off.
