Coverage: Saturday June 13 from 5 PM onward — Sunday June 14, full day.
Sunday is the bigger day by a wide margin: Stern Grove opens its 89th season for free, Sunday Streets returns to the Tenderloin, a Pride marketplace fills Hayes Valley, a film festival wraps at the Presidio, the World Cup's outdoor fan zones stay active, and national parks waive entry fees for Flag Day. Saturday evening is a solid warm-up — the NBA Finals watch party, a few live music options, and a comedy scene deep enough to fill any bracket.
No tech/AI events this weekend. The Data+AI Summit opens Monday June 15 at Moscone West — that cluster starts tomorrow.

Saturday, June 13 — evening (5 PM onward)

SFMOMA Free Family Day — 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, SFMOMA, 151 Third St, SoMa. Free for up to four adults accompanying each visitor 18 and under. Features the refreshed Fisher Collection galleries on Floor 5. Note: SFMOMA's Free First Thursdays program has been paused since February 2026; this Family Day is separate from that program. 16 17

The full 2026 season runs June 14–August 16, with Japanese Breakfast (June 28), Major Lazer (July 5), Violent Femmes (August 2), Patti LaBelle (August 9), Public Enemy (August 15), and Al Green (August 16) among the remaining lineup. Reserved table seating is available by donation via sterngrove.org/reservedtables.
