Storks poop on their legs to cool down.

The behavior is called urohidrosis: a stork directs liquid excreta onto its bare, blood-rich legs, and evaporation carries heat away. In a study covering all 19 living stork species, hotter, more humid, brighter conditions and lower wind were linked to more use, with 50% occurrence thresholds ranging from 27.68 C to 33.49 C among species with enough data; the result is about storks, not every bird. 1
