Product Hunt lists Open Analytics as launching on August 22. The makers describe it as an open-source, privacy-first alternative to Google Analytics, with real-time visitors, funnels, and revenue attribution from a lightweight, cookieless script. It also exposes the analytics through an MCP server so AI agents can query the data. 12

The useful shift is the handoff. A team can ask an AI tool about live site data instead of copying a report into a chat. Open Analytics says the product is self-hostable or available in the cloud, while its hosted version starts with a seven-day trial rather than an ongoing free plan. The AI query layer still depends on clean instrumentation and correctly connected data. 3

SubtitleGenerator, made by indie creator Yana Li, is also marked as launching on August 22. It takes a video through AI transcription, correction, styling, and export in one browser workflow. The product flags uncertain words, offers 33 caption styles, and exports a burned-in video or formats such as SRT, VTT, ASS, SSA, SBV, SMI, TXT, and JSON. 145

That matters because caption work usually breaks into several tools. SubtitleGenerator keeps the source video on the device and sends only extracted audio for transcription, according to its privacy page. The free plan is useful for testing, but it includes a watermark and 720p export; clean HD output, translation, and broader export options begin on paid plans. 5

The most specialized drop is MillworkSuite, released by MillworkSuite with technology partner CLOUDSUFI. Its platform reads architectural PDF drawings, detects rooms, elevations, scales, and millwork types, then creates a priced scope of work. The significance is not general-purpose intelligence. It is removing the repeated handoff between estimating and drafting for one trade. MillworkSuite is generally available now, but the release’s claim that one customer cut drafting time in half is a company-reported result, not an independent benchmark. Shops still need onboarding for pricing catalogs and CAD libraries. 6

These drops point in one direction: AI is becoming useful when it shortens the distance between messy input and a decision-ready artifact. The test is not whether the demo looks clever. It is whether the data stays trustworthy, the correction step stays visible, and the workflow boundary is narrow enough to verify.
