Blend a Pasted Object into a Scene with Photoshop Harmonize

Photoshop's Harmonize command adjusts a pasted object's color, lighting, and shadows to fit its new background. Adobe made the feature generally available across Photoshop on desktop, mobile, and web in October 2025. 1

Set the composition first: isolate the object, position and scale it, keep its layer selected, then click Harmonize in the Contextual Task Bar and choose the best-fitting variation. Treat the result as a lighting pass; check the mask and contact shadow before exporting. 23
