A $150 walking pad below its own June price, a whey at $8.01 a pound, and Vitacost's Sept. 28 cutoffs

A Sept. 21–27 scan of protein, supplement and fitness-gear offers across Costco, Target, BJ's, Amazon, iHerb and Vitacost, with checkout math, hard deadlines, and four prices checked against what the same item was posted at before.

Health Product Deals
Health Product Deals@NeoDrop Official
Prices were checked at 9:10 a.m. ET on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026, across Costco, Target, BJ's, Amazon, iHerb and Vitacost.
Vitacost's brand promotion ends Monday at 7:00 a.m. ET, which makes this the hardest deadline of the week. Two equipment prices can be measured against what the same model was posted at earlier this year, and a whey powder finally came in under the $10-a-pound mark that earlier scans of this channel used as the line between a good bulk buy and a bad one. Four offers below carry an earlier posted price; the rest carry the seller's own comparison, and every line says which one it is.

Costco: week two of the October book

The member book that opened Sept. 21 runs to Oct. 18, and its health aisles look the way they did when it opened: a handful of rows with a full warehouse price, and the supplement pages printing a dollar saving on its own. 5
None of the October pages prices a protein powder. The only bulk whey that turned up at Costco in this scan was a 5.16-pound tub of ProSupps at $53.99, which works out to $10.46 a pound, and its sale ended Sept. 20 — the day before the current book began. That one is gone; if you were waiting on it, it will have to come back around.
What is live is a smaller stack, and the pharmacy promotion does the heavy lifting. Zipfizz's 30-count tubes of caffeinated vitamin drink mix carry a $6 manufacturer saving that runs Sept. 21 through Oct. 11, taking the price to $23.99 with a limit of 15 tubs. The tubs also qualify for Costco's pharmacy Buy More, Save More promotion, which takes $15 off three qualifying pharmacy items in one order and $30 off five or more. Spread across five items, that second tier is $6 apiece, and it lands the tubes at $17.99 — about 25% below the $23.99 sale price and 40% below the $30 list. 6
Three conditions decide whether you can reach $17.99. Buy More, Save More runs online only, it allows two discounts per membership across the whole promotion, and the qualifying items have to sit in the same order. A single tub bought alone stays at $23.99. Costco also prints that warehouse, online, Business Center and Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico prices can differ, so the shelf tag at your local store is the number that counts. 56

Protein: a powder under $10 a pound, and two case deals

Target: Six Star whey, 1.81 pounds for $14.49

A 1.81-pound tub of Six Star 100% Whey Protein Plus in the Kellogg's Frosted Flakes flavor drops from $28.99 to $14.49 once the 50% cart discount applies, which is $8.01 a pound for a powder that states 30 grams of protein a serving. The post carries a +25 score and 34 comments, and Slickdeals' editors measured it $4.50 below the next best comparable price, which they put at $18.99. 7
The comparison that matters here is the one against Six Star's own posted prices. The same product line in its 1.8-pound, 18-serving tubs was posted on Amazon at from $14.98 on Aug. 22, after a 35% clipped coupon and 5% Subscribe & Save, and one flavor — Triple Chocolate — went as low as $11.15. 28
So the Target price matches the ordinary Amazon price for this line, at $8.01 a pound, and it sits about $3 above the cheapest flavor the community has posted. Target applies the discount in the cart, with no code to enter, and the post states no end date.

BJ's: Fairlife 30g shakes, 12 for $21.49

BJ's has the Fairlife Nutrition Plan shake in chocolate or vanilla, twelve 11.5-ounce bottles, at $21.49 against a $27 list price — $1.79 a bottle and about 44 cents per 30-gram serving. Slickdeals' editors put the next best merchant at $26.78, so this is roughly $5 under the field. 9
Two gates apply. The price shows for signed-in BJ's members, and pickup is free only on orders of $50 or more; below that it costs $3.99, which eats most of the gap on a single case. The post has no stated end date. 9

Amazon: Premier Protein Coffeehouse, 12 for $19.81

Amazon lists the Coffeehouse Caramel Macchiato shake at $25.06, and a $4 coupon clipped on the product page plus 5% Subscribe & Save brings it to $19.81, or $1.65 a shake. Subscribing to five or more items in a month raises the Subscribe & Save tier to 15% and takes the case to $17.30, which is $1.44 a bottle. This is a newer flavor in the line, so its own sales record is short. 10

Closed this week: the Muscle Milk case

The cheapest ready-to-drink price of the week is over. Amazon's select-account stack on a 12-pack of Muscle Milk 26g Chocolate landed at $13.09, or about $1.09 a shake, on a post that drew a +119 score and 14,500 views — and it now carries an expired marker. Commenters on that thread also reported that the 15% coupon appeared on some accounts and not others, so the price was never universal. 11

Vitamins and supplements

Vitacost: every brand tier ends Monday morning

Vitacost applies its brand discounts automatically at checkout, and almost all of the current slate shares one cutoff: Monday, Sept. 28 at 7:00 a.m. ET. 1
At 30% off: Vitacost's own brand, RADIUS, Badger and Foods Alive. At 25% off: OceanBlue, a fish-oil brand. At 20% off: Greens First, Tribe Organics, Mariani and Reserveage Beauty. At 15% off: Barlean's, Gerber, Yogi Tea, NutriBiotic, Twinlab, the select beauty stock-up collection and the select pantry essentials collection.
Two codes ride on top of the automatic tiers. SAVE20 takes 20% off an order of $100 or more, and FALL15 takes 15% off select fall flavors. Both end Monday at 7:00 a.m. ET as well.
Three tiers outlast the Monday cutoff: Zesty Paws at 20% runs to Oct. 26, and Reserveage Beauty at 20% and Twinlab at 15% run to Oct. 28.
The page prints brand-level percentages and no product prices, so the percentage tells you what will change at checkout and nothing about whether the base price is good. Check the specific bottle first. Shipping is free over $30.

iHerb: item-level prices on the deals page

iHerb's deals page is the one retailer route in this scan that prints a current price against the site's own reference price, item by item. 12
  • NOW Foods Certified Organic Chlorella, 500 mg, 200 tablets — $6.77 against a $14.69 reference, 54% off
  • California Gold Nutrition LactoBif 5 Probiotics, 5 billion CFU, 60 veggie capsules — $5.53 against $10.73, 48% off, with 41% of the stock claimed
  • California Gold Nutrition Adult Sambucus Elderberry Syrup, 8 fl oz — $8.99 against $17.87, 50% off
  • TheraTears Extra Dry Eye Therapy lubricant eye drops, 0.5 fl oz — $6.36 against $15.10, 58% off
Those reference prices are the retailer's own, so they show what changed rather than what the item has sold for. The deals page carried no standalone protein powder again this week, which is why the powder entry above comes from Target.

Home fitness equipment

Amazon: MERACH W50 Lite walkpad for $150

The W50 Lite carries a 10% automatic incline, a 350-pound capacity, a 3.0 horsepower motor, a Bluetooth speaker, a remote and an app, and Amazon lists it at a $300 list price. Promo code ZAYX4HVR takes it to $150 with free shipping. 13
This is the one price in the scan that undercuts its own history. The same W50 Lite was posted at $179.99 on June 18, on a thread using a different code, so $150 sits about 17% below where this exact model was last offered. 3
One comment on the current post is worth reading before you buy: the writer calls a 16.1-inch belt without a handrail unsafe for running and doubts the motor rating. The deal itself drew only a +7 score from 2,000 views, which is thin backing for a machine at this price.

Amazon: Sports Royals power tower for $229.57

The FZYT-2022 free-standing power tower and pull-up bar lists at $279.96, and promo code BQY45EA3 takes $50.39 off for a final $229.57, with free shipping for Prime members. The post scored +58 across 10,900 views, and the editors measured it $120.42 below the next best reputable merchant, which they put at $349.99. 14
That $229.57 is not a new level for this machine. The same model was posted at $229.59 on Aug. 13 with a different code, which expired. The current post puts it back where August had it, two cents lower, and the code is what makes it available again. 4

Amazon: Sportsroyals power cage at $281.59, above its July price

The RK2 multi-functional power cage with a pulley system and lat pulldown lists at $319.99, and promo code NK5PL4ST takes $38.40 off for $281.59 for Prime members, free shipping. The editors measured it $48.40 below the next best merchant, which starts at $329.99. 15
The same cage was posted at $263.48 on July 21 with code O9N6OVK7. Today's price is $18.11 more than that, so the discount here is against the list price and against other merchants, and the machine has been cheaper on this board within the past three months. 16

Three more equipment prices worth knowing

  • CURSOR FITNESS CBE10 exercise bike — $142 with code B5ZTI7VK, down from a $169.98 sale price and a $230 list, free shipping. The post holds a +94 score across 15,100 views and an update says it is still available. 17
  • CURSOR FITNESS L20 folding treadmill — $219.99 with code 5FJ0NLP6, down from $399.99, free shipping. The listing states a 20% incline, a 3.5 horsepower motor and a 400-pound capacity. 18
  • NEWBULIG 5-in-1 adjustable dumbbell set — $49.99 for a 60-pound convertible set, free shipping, down from a $95 list. 19
One equipment price did surface and then die inside the week: a Cyclerade walking pad at $49.99 through Woot, posted Sept. 25 and already marked expired. It drew a +11 score and no comments at all. 20

Retailer-wide promotions and expiry cliffs

Vitacost, Monday, Sept. 28, 7:00 a.m. ET. The 30%, 25%, 20% and 15% brand tiers, plus codes SAVE20 and FALL15, all close at that hour. This is the deadline most likely to slip past you, because it arrives before a normal shopping day begins. 1
Costco, Sunday, Oct. 11, and Sunday, Nov. 22. The Zipfizz manufacturer saving closes Oct. 11; the pharmacy Buy More, Save More promotion runs to Nov. 22 but caps at two discounts per membership. 6
Now, at Amazon and Target. None of the Amazon offers above states an end date, and Amazon promo codes are usually single use, so the cart total at the moment you buy is the only deadline. Target's Six Star discount applies in the cart with no date attached. 71013

Checkout order and expiry watch

  1. Tonight or Monday before 7:00 a.m. ET, at Vitacost. Build any cart that depends on a 30%, 25%, 20% or 15% brand tier, and add SAVE20 if the order clears $100. The tiers and both codes end at the same hour. 1
  2. Today, at Target. Add the Six Star 1.81-pound tub and confirm $14.49 lands in the cart before paying. There is no code, and the discount has no stated end. 7
  3. Today, at Amazon, if you want the walkpad. Apply ZAYX4HVR and check that the total reads $150. This is the one price in the issue below what the same model was posted at earlier this year. 13
  4. Today, at Amazon, for the power tower. Apply BQY45EA3 for $229.57 and log in to clip the coupon. The code is what reopened this price; the machine sat at $229.59 in August. 14
  5. Only if you need a rack this month, at Amazon. The power cage at $281.59 is above its own July price of $263.48. Waiting has paid on this machine before. 15
  6. Before Oct. 11, at Costco. If you buy five qualifying pharmacy items in one online order, the Zipfizz lands near $17.99. The manufacturer saving alone gives $23.99, and it closes Oct. 11. 6
  7. Skip these. The Muscle Milk case at $13.09, the Cyclerade walking pad at $49.99 and Costco's ProSupps whey at $53.99 are all closed, and no cart total will bring them back. 112021

How to read the labels in this issue

Four entries carry a real comparison with what the same item has been posted at before, and all four are walking machines or racks: the MERACH W50 Lite at $150 against $179.99 in June, the Sports Royals power tower at $229.57 against $229.59 in August, the Sportsroyals power cage at $281.59 against $263.48 in July, and the Six Star whey tub at $14.49 against $14.98 in August and $11.15 for one flavor. Four points do not make a price series, and I could not confirm that any of them is an all-time low. 23416
Every other entry rests on a comparison the seller supplies: Target's list price against its own cart discount, BJ's list price and Slickdeals' next-best-merchant figure, Amazon's list price against a clipped coupon, iHerb's own reference price, and Costco's warehouse price against its instant saving. Those figures tell you what changed this week. The body of evidence behind a claim that a price is the lowest it has ever been is not available from any of these sources. 57912
