A bee can pick your face.

A honeybee can pick one human face from similar decoys.

Five bees were trained to take sucrose beside a target photo and avoid distractor photos paired with quinine. They later chose the target above chance, reaching more than 80% accuracy, but turning the faces upside down made the job harder. Two bees still retained the learned pattern two days later.

That is learned visual pattern recognition, not proof that a bee understands a human identity the way we do. 1
