Rose lives alone on a small island in the middle of a lake, and she makes medicines for a living. The knight she has been quietly in love with for four years turns up at her door with an order: a love potion. The potion is not for her. 3
She takes the job anyway. Every ingredient he needs becomes an errand she invents on the spot — something to fetch from the far side of the market, a herb that only grows for one week a year — and each errand buys her one more afternoon with him, which is exactly as much as it buys her. 1
Diomedéa is animating all twelve episodes with Keizou Kusakawa directing, from Eiko Mutsuhana's light novel; the series has passed a million copies. 2 It is airing right now and Crunchyroll carries it outside Japan, so episode one costs you twenty-three minutes tonight. 1

Four swipes, then episode 1.
