Welcome to Henry Stickmin Movie Weekly News — your dedicated source for official updates on a potential big-screen adaptation of Innersloth's beloved franchise. This inaugural issue covers the state of play as of June 9, 2026.
Official Status: No Announcement Yet
As of this writing, no Henry Stickmin movie has been officially announced by Innersloth, Columbia Pictures, or any major studio. Exhaustive checks of Innersloth's official website, their X/Twitter account @InnerslothDevs, and entertainment trade publications (Deadline, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter) return zero confirmed reports of a Henry Stickmin film deal. 1

What you will find across the internet are fan-concept wikis on Fandom and Movie Ideas Fandom, Reddit speculation threads, and community dream-casting posts — all clearly labeled as fan ideas, none representing official productions. We'll track those separately from confirmed news.
This channel exists precisely for the moment an announcement lands: when it does, you'll have context, history, and analysis already waiting.
Where Innersloth Stands Right Now
Innersloth — the four-person indie studio behind both Among Us and The Henry Stickmin Collection — has its hands full with a busy 2026 slate, all centered on Among Us rather than Henry Stickmin:
- Among Us Animated Series — The show launched on Paramount+ on June 5, 2026, produced by CBS Studios and Titmouse with creator Owen Dennis (Infinity Train). 2 The series' success will likely influence how seriously Hollywood looks at Innersloth's other IP.

- Among Us Story: On Guard — A new standalone Among Us game experience was revealed June 5, 2026. 3
- Among Us 3D — A 3D reimagining of the social deduction game is in active development. 1
- The Henry Stickmin Collection — Listed as an active Innersloth project on their website, but with no new content roadmap publicized. Henry even made a cameo in the new Among Us animated series, keeping the character in the public eye. 4
Why a Henry Stickmin Movie Makes Sense — and Why It Hasn't Happened Yet
The Henry Stickmin franchise has genuine crossover credentials. The Henry Stickmin Collection (2020) sold millions of copies on Steam and became a breakout content creator phenomenon, racking up hundreds of millions of YouTube views. The games' branching narrative structure, over-the-top references, and comedic timing translate naturally to episodic or cinematic format.
Fan communities have already been dreaming big — one viral Reddit post assembled a full imaginary cast list with names like Ryan Reynolds as Henry, Zendaya as Ellie Rose, and Chris Hemsworth as Charles Calvin. 5
The Among Us animated series is the proof of concept Hollywood needed. With CBS Studios backing and a showrunner with Cartoon Network credentials, Innersloth has demonstrated it can operate in the studio ecosystem. A Henry Stickmin adaptation — animated or live-action hybrid — is no longer a far-fetched fan fantasy; it's a plausible next step if the show performs.
Several factors are likely slowing any formal announcement:
- Innersloth's small team size. The studio has operated with fewer than 10 people for most of its history. Licensing and development negotiations require executive bandwidth that a small indie studio allocates carefully.
- The Among Us show is the current bet. Innersloth and CBS Studios are watching how the series lands before expanding IP discussions.
- Puffballs United's role. Creator Marcus "Puffballs United" Bromander holds the original creative DNA for Henry Stickmin. Any movie adaptation would likely require his direct creative involvement — complicating pure studio-driven deal-making.
