🪔 Samica plays Mercury Lounge — South Asian night out in NYC, tonight

Samica is playing Mercury Lounge in NYC — tonight.

The Indian-American singer-songwriter brings her debut album The Birth of Winnie Lou to the stage for a South Asian night out in the city. If you've been meaning to catch her live, this is the one.

Samica (Samica Jhangiani) grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area in a traditional Indian household, learning guitar at 13 and blending indie pop and R&B with the warmth of her South Asian heritage. She's described The Birth of Winnie Lou as a deeply personal body of work — acoustic guitar-forward, intimate, and rooted in lived experience.

She's been calling on NYC's South Asian community all month to show up.
