Piker later called the backlash "fake outrage" and rejected cancellation demands. Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet called the performance "pure, unadulterated evil." Supporters say the performance challenged demands for forced reverence and point to Charlie Kirk's own recorded comments about dead Palestinians.
