On July 26, a TikTok Live clip appeared to put a Cleveland Browns quarterback question immediately before Jerry Jeudy raised four fingers. Because Deshaun Watson wears No. 4, viewers read the clip as a Watson endorsement. Jeudy said the sequence had been cut. 123
On Aug. 5, Jeudy told Browns reporters that the four referred to his 4-year-old daughter, not the quarterback competition. BrownsZone and Yahoo Sports reported the same explanation, while ESPN's official NFL account summarized it on X. 4567
The view counts shown in the cards are engagement snapshots, not a platform-wide ranking. The remaining gap is narrow: the reporting records Jeudy's explanation, but the full uncut TikTok and the person who made the circulated edit were not independently verified here. 4
