Seedance 2.5 gets a 1080P lane

Seedance 2.5 has a new production lane on Volcengine. The official API documentation says the model is fully public for API calls and online use, with 30-second direct generation, video editing, extensions, and multimodal references in one task.1

The current offer adds 1080p output at 72% of list price from August 14 at 14:00 through September 17 at 14:00, 2026, Beijing time. The discount applies to 1080p; 480p and 720p are excluded.12

Why it matters: higher output gives a shot more room for a tight crop, a composite, or a client-facing export. Try one crop-sensitive shot at 1080p before you commit a full batch. The activity page still carries an FAQ line that says 720p maximum, while the API documentation and active offer list 1080p. Check the resolution selector in your account before spending on a batch.2
