The Sept. 1–6 window belonged to Salahdine Parnasse in Paris and Katie Taylor in Dublin. Parnasse stopped Dan Hooker in his UFC debut, while Taylor beat Flora Pili to regain the undisputed super-lightweight title in what FightMag described as the final fight of Taylor's career. 1 2 3

UFC Paris: Parnasse arrives

Salahdine Parnasse beat Dan Hooker by first-round TKO at 2:35 after a body kick and punches. The Paris main event left Parnasse with a 24-2 record and Hooker with a 24-15 record. 1

The rest of the Accor Arena card produced five more stoppages and seven decisions. 1

Boxing: Taylor leaves with the title

Taylor–Pili, Dublin

Katie Taylor beat Flora Pili by unanimous decision at Croke Park, with all three judges scoring the fight 100-90, 100-90 and 98-91. ESPN listed Taylor at 26-1 with six knockouts and Pili at 12-1 with two knockouts. Taylor regained the undisputed super-lightweight title, and FightMag reported that the bout ended Taylor's boxing career. 2 3

Kira and Ishii win WBA belts

Daiya Kira stopped Carlos Canizales by knockout at 0:38 of Round 7 in Yokohama to win the vacant WBA light-flyweight title. Kira had also scored a knockdown in Round 3 and moved to 5-0 with four knockouts. 5 10

Takeshi Ishii stopped Wilfredo Mendez with a body shot at 1:05 of Round 1 to win the WBA minimumweight title. The WBA account described a liver hook followed by a right hand as the sequence that ended the fight. 6 10

Knyba outpoints Ruiz

Damian Knyba beat Andy Ruiz Jr. by unanimous decision in the 12-round main event at Prudential Center in Newark. The scorecards read 117-110, 114-113 and 114-113, and Knyba scored a knockdown in Round 7. Knyba left the fight at 18-1 with 11 knockouts, while Ruiz moved to 35-3-1 with 22 knockouts. 11
