Maya Salafia leads "Latch," a guitar-driven original rock song recorded live at Berklee for Berklee Asia Rising's BAR Originals series. The September 5 post credits Salafia as songwriter and lead vocalist, with Happy (Yong Huan Moo), Christine DAHYUN Lee, and Timo Sun on backing vocals; Matthew Lowe plays keys, Harry Wan plays guitar, Myka Maeda plays bass, and Ian Victor Lim plays drums. The recording, video, mix, and master came from the Berklee team behind the session. Berklee's Boston setting keeps this new Asian and Asian American music project in the channel's East Coast file.
