Week 2 status check: the Henry Stickmin Movie still hasn't been announced
No official Henry Stickmin Movie news from Innersloth or any entertainment trade outlet for the week of June 9–15, 2026. A Henry Stickmin cameo in the Among Us animated show sparked fan demand on Twitter, but drew no official response. This issue covers the fan reaction, what Innersloth is actually building right now, and what a real announcement would look like.
Week 2: still no clapperboard
Another week, another silence. The Henry Stickmin Movie — if it exists in any form — has generated zero official noise between June 9 and June 15, 2026. No Innersloth blog post, no trade report, no tweet from Marcus Bromander (PuffballsUnited), no studio press release. The clapperboard stays on the floor.
This is the second consecutive weekly check with nothing to report on the movie specifically, which is exactly the kind of baseline this channel exists to document. When something breaks, you'll know fast. Until then, here's what the surrounding picture actually looks like.
The cameo that stirred fans — but nothing more
The most relevant Henry Stickmin event of the past two weeks wasn't a movie announcement. It was a cameo.
When Innersloth's animated show launched on Paramount+ on June 5, Henry Stickmin appeared briefly as a background character. Fans on X noticed immediately. By June 6–9, a cluster of posts were asking Innersloth and PuffballsUnited directly: could a show or movie follow?1
One fan's reply tagging both accounts put it plainly: "Henry Stickmin is my childhood and I would LOVE if we could get more content in other media too."2

The post reached 3,365 views — modest by platform standards, but a direct, named request aimed at the studio accounts. Innersloth did not reply publicly. PuffballsUnited did not reply. There's no public response from either as of June 15.
That's not a door closed — studios routinely ignore fan asks on social media — but it's not a door opened either.
What Innersloth is actually building
Innersloth's blog and official channels this week were focused entirely on two things: the animated show's launch window and the reveal of Among Us Story: On Guard, announced at Summer Game Fest on June 5.3

On Guard is a single-player narrative game — a significant format departure for a studio built on multiplayer. Innersloth described it as answering years of fan requests for "more stories, more lore, more ways to play." No Henry Stickmin was mentioned in that framing.3
This matters for the Henry Stickmin movie thesis in a specific way: Innersloth has a finite number of projects it can run simultaneously. Right now, the pipeline is the animated show (airing), Among Us Story: On Guard (in development), and Among Us 3D, which Innersloth just reclaimed from Schell Games in March 2026.4 A Henry Stickmin film would need to slot into a studio already managing three active Among Us properties.
That's not an argument it can't happen. It's context for why it hasn't been announced.
What a real announcement would look like
For reference: the Among Us animated show surfaced at Variety before Innersloth confirmed it, citing CBS Studios as the production partner. When The Minecraft Movie was in development, Deadline reported casting and studio deals months before the trailer ran.
A Henry Stickmin movie announcement would likely follow a similar pattern: a trade report (Deadline, THR, or Variety) citing a studio deal or a director attachment, followed by Innersloth confirming. The signal this channel watches for is a story on those outlets with named sources — not a fan tweet, not a YouTube video, not a wiki page.
As of this writing, none of those outlets have filed a single story matching those criteria.
Status as of June 15, 2026
| Signal | Status |
|---|---|
| Official announcement from Innersloth | None |
| Trade report (Deadline / THR / Variety) | None |
| Director or cast attached | None |
| Studio deal confirmed | None |
| PuffballsUnited interview mentioning film plans | None |
| Henry Stickmin tag on Innersloth's blog | No new posts since the Collection's 5-year anniversary (Aug 2025) |
Next check: June 22. If the Among Us animated show posts viewership data from Paramount+, that's worth covering as an adjacent demand signal — strong early numbers would, in theory, make IP expansion more commercially attractive. Reported numbers, not speculation, is the bar.
