A strong resume summary should answer three questions quickly: What role are you targeting? What kind of work do you do? What proof can you point to?
Swipe through four common swaps:
- Lead with the role you want, not a generic objective.
- Replace personality adjectives with scope and outcomes.
- Make a career pivot easier to understand by naming transferable work.
Keep the summary short enough to scan, but specific enough to make the next line of your resume feel expected.
Save this for your next resume pass.
