A $3,139 EOS R3 and a $1,819 Nikkor Z 100-400: five used floors, four with dated checkpoints

Canon R and Nikon Z carry the deepest cuts this week. MPB's US storefront lists the Canon EOS R3 from $3,139, against a floor of $3,579 when the same page was archived on May 28 — a $440 fall and the largest dollar move among this week's five. 12 The Nikon Nikkor Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S fell further in percentage terms, from $2,149 on the same May date to a $1,819 floor today, down 15.4%. 34

All five floors were read on MPB's US and EU storefronts on October 2, 2026. The dated comparisons are archived copies of the same model pages, each named with its date and copy count. EU figures convert at the European Central Bank's October 2 reference rate of $1.1225 per euro. 5

MPB grades on a five-step cosmetic scale — Like new, Excellent, Good, Well used, Heavily used — and the grade describes the outside of the item. 6 A lens's front element and a body's actuation count each need their own evidence, which the copy pages carry where MPB publishes them.

The model page leads with $3,139, and that floor carries no published grade. The graded copies sit above it: Good $3,339 (SKU 4074185), Like new $3,469 and Excellent $3,559. 17 The $3,339 Good copy discloses 75,000 actuations and ships with the LP-E19 battery, the LC-E19 charger, the ER-h eyecup and the original packaging; the IFC-100U interface cable is the only missing item. 7

On May 28 the same page listed 13 copies from $3,579 to $3,749, so the floor has fallen $440 and the stock to five. 2 MPB flags the listing "Last few in stock," which points to a seller clearing the tail of a repricing. Europe lists 10 copies from €2,709, about $3,041, under the US floor. 517

Call: buy at $3,339. A dual-grip stacked-sensor speed body with a stated count and a full box, $240 under the Excellent copy and $440 below this model's May floor, is the straightforward move of the week. The $3,139 floor needs its grade named before it counts as the same offer. For action work, the RF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM is the partner lens; its graded floor is an Excellent at $2,459, and the $1,479 on its page is a Heavily used copy. 18

The $1,819 floor carries no grade. The cheapest graded copy is a Good at $1,949 (SKU 4093792), and its listing carries MPB's own note: "The front element has significant marks, but this isn't visible in the image produced." 38 The box holds the HB-103 hood, the tripod collar, the CL-C3 case, both caps and the six-month warranty; an Excellent copy sits at $2,319. 8

On May 28 the page listed 5 copies from $2,149 to $2,339; today it lists 18 from $1,819, so the floor is down 15.4% and the stock has more than tripled. 4 Eighteen copies landing on one lower floor is the shape of bulk intake. Europe lists 9 copies from €2,419, about $2,715, well above the US number. 519

Call: conditional buy at $1,949. Accept the marked copy only with a test frame and a return path, and shoot into a light source on arrival to see whether the marks flare. The clean Excellent at $2,319 costs $370 more, so the patient buyer can wait on that one. For a two-lens Z kit, the Nikkor Z 24-120mm f/4 S starts at $739. 20

Thirty-one copies run from $1,419 to $1,659. The published ladder is Good at $1,459 (SKU 3889688) and Excellent at $1,599 and $1,609, so the $1,419 floor sits $40 under the cheapest graded copy. 910

The Good copy discloses 54,232 actuations and includes a Sony NP-FZ100 battery, a third-party charger and a third-party L-bracket; the neck strap, the eyecup and Sony's own BC-QZ1 charger are missing. 10 On May 28 the page listed 36 copies from $1,539 to $1,829, so the floor is down $120. 11 Sony announced the A7R VI on May 13, 2026 at $4,499.99, and the resolution line has been repricing under it since. 21 Europe lists 15 copies from €1,619, about $1,817, far above the US floor. 522

Call: buy at $1,459. Sixty-one megapixels with a disclosed count and a boxed battery for the price of a mid-range APS-C body is the most resolution per dollar on this list. Pair it with the FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM, whose floor is $669 for a Heavily used copy and $1,059 for a Good. 23

Twenty-three copies run from $1,849 to $2,049. The floor is a Good copy (SKU 4110911) at $1,849, with Excellent copies at $1,989 and $2,029. 1213

The Good copy includes the NP-W235 battery, a strap, the USB charging cable and the original packaging; the AC-5VJ adapter is the missing item. Fujifilm does not disclose a shutter count for this body, so the exact-copy photographs carry the inspection. 13 On May 28 the page listed 32 copies from $1,979 to $2,199, so the floor is down $130. 14 The X-H2S uses Fujifilm's stacked 26MP sensor, and the comparison table rates its shutter at 500,000 actuations. 24 Europe lists 4 copies from €1,679, about $1,885. 525

Call: buy at $1,849. A 500,000-actuation stacked-sensor body with 6.2K and 4K/120 recording, $130 below its May floor, is the deepest Fuji X cut this week. Pair it with the XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR from $464. 26

Forty-three copies run from $1,249 to $1,399. The floor is a Good copy (SKU 3896892) disclosing 72,000 actuations, with Excellent copies at $1,349 and $1,359 and Like new copies at $1,399 disclosing 8,000 to 20,000. 1516 Canon rates the R7's shutter at 200,000 actuations, so the floor copy has used 36% of its rated life and the like-new copies under 10%. 24

No archived copy of this page carries a price line, so the $1,249 floor stands alone and the count is the evidence here. 15 Europe lists 70 copies from €944, about $1,060, with its own Good at €1,039. 527

Call: buy the $1,399 Like new at 8,000 actuations. For $150 over the floor a reader gets an APS-C sports body at 4% of its rated life, and 43 copies leave room to choose the copy. Pair it with the RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM from $639 for a light wildlife kit with 640mm-equivalent reach. 28

The Canon EOS R3 at $3,339 is the week's biggest dollar move; the Nikon Z 100-400mm at $1,949 is the deepest cut once its marked element is priced in. The Sony A7R IV at $1,459 and the Fujifilm X-H2S at $1,849 are the two body buys with clear counts and no disclosed faults. On the Canon EOS R7 the $1,249 floor is a 72,000-actuation copy, and the $1,399 like-new is the better offer at 8,000.

Whichever copy you go after, ask for its grade, its wear notes, its actuation count, what is in the box and the warranty terms: US copies carry six months and EU copies twelve. Every figure above was read on October 2, 2026.
