The week's signal

Phish's five-show Madison Square Garden run put $9.8 million on the board from 83,183 tickets, while the band's 17,089-ticket average across seven reported shows earned the No. 7 spot on Pollstar's weekly LIVE75 chart. Across 96 career shows at the room, Phish has now grossed $139 million from 1,739,752 tickets.

The other box-office number worth bookmarking is Backstreet Boys' Sphere run: Pollstar reports an average $2.85 million gross on 16,669 tickets. The in-window Pollstar pages verified LIVE75 and Boxoffice figures; they did not expose a fresh Global Concert Pulse chart permalink for Aug. 8-14.

Backstreet Boys added Dec. 31 and Jan. 1-2 performances of Into The Millennium at Sphere; the announcement sets the fan-club presale for Aug. 18 at 10 a.m. PT, the artist presale for Aug. 19, and the general sale for Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. PT.

Broadway ticket clock

Moulin Rouge! The Musical closes Aug. 30 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre after seven years; Broadway.com's update identifies the production as the Tony-winning adaptation of Baz Luhrmann's film.

Slash makes his Broadway debut with a one-night The Lost Boys appearance on Aug. 13 at the Palace Theatre, while Julianne Moore is set to star in Faydra at New York City Center Stage I beginning Feb. 2, 2027; Broadway.com's roundup has both casting updates.
