• Four of the event's twenty secret-quest badges have their first holders, and nearly every award behind them arrived in the past day: S14 at 21,230 (20,274 of them in the past day), S03 at 17,509 (16,798), S19 at 8,476 (7,932) and S08 at 437 (350). 4

99 Nights in the Forest is being adapted for film

• Deadline says the studio won the rights in a competitive situation, and that no director is attached. 6
• The game's own makers are on the film: designer Alec Kieft, programmer Matthew Hufton and environment and asset creator Cameron Angland are executive producers, alongside Ghost House's Romel Adam and Jose Cañas. 6
• Deadline puts the game seventh among the most-played in Roblox's history, with nearly 26 billion lifetime visits and a 90.6% player rating, and says it is not yet a year old. Up to eight players at a time survive a haunted forest and try to rescue four lost children. 6

One free private server per game from Thursday

• Roblox gives its reason in the announcement: a small number of Plus members were creating thousands of free paid-access private servers per game, which Roblox says cut into creator revenue. 7
• One server per game also keeps a member's playtime concentrated enough to clear the 60-minute threshold that creator payouts are measured against. 7
• Want more than one? They stay on sale at whatever price the creator sets, and a lapsed subscription takes the free server with it at the end of that billing cycle. 7
