Google put Gemini Enterprise on the lawyer's desk

Google Cloud put Gemini Enterprise for Legal into preview on Aug. 25, 2026. The product is a governed agent platform for law firms and in-house legal teams, built around skills, connectors, pre-built agents, and a partner layer under one control plane. 1

Agents are meant to plug into systems lawyers already use. Named connectors include iManage, NetDocuments, Thomson Reuters HighQ, CourtListener, Courtroom5, Harvey, Legora, Everlaw, and RelativityOne, plus Workspace, Microsoft 365, and DocuSign. Google says access follows each platform's existing permissions and ethical walls, and that client data, playbooks, and outputs stay private and are not used to train Google foundation models. 12

Early firm partners named in the launch are Cleary Gottlieb, Freshfields, Weil, and Williams & Connolly. Google also launched Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services on the same day. List price, general availability, and how firms choose models inside the platform remain undisclosed. 1
