Anthropic adds DXC as Claude partner for mission-critical systems

Anthropic has signed a multi-year global alliance with DXC Technology to put Claude into systems DXC operates for banks, airlines, insurers, manufacturers, and government agencies. Anthropic says DXC will train tens of thousands of Claude-certified forward-deployed engineers who can work inside customer environments, rather than selling Claude only as a standalone tool or API. 1

The alliance makes DXC part of the Claude Partner Network and positions the company as a Global Premier partner. DXC says the program will create a dedicated workforce of engineers and builders, recruited from its existing teams and certified through Anthropic Academy, with additional DXC training for mission-critical environments. 2

The rollout is anchored in DXC's own internal use of Claude. Anthropic says DXC used Claude across operations that include roughly 115,000 employees in 70 countries, and that Claude generated more than 95% of the code for DXC OASIS, the company's AI-native orchestration platform for managed services, before human review. 1 DXC says OASIS is already in production with more than 50 customers and uses Claude as the default foundation model for its agentic workflows. 2

This is a distribution move for regulated enterprise adoption. The target users are not early developer teams experimenting with Claude. They are organizations where DXC already runs core transaction, claims, operations, infrastructure, and government systems under security and compliance constraints. Anthropic's commercial signal is that Claude can enter those environments through certified services teams that already manage the systems.

The initial focus areas are insurance, legacy modernization, cybersecurity, and application services. Anthropic says DXC will use Claude for agentic insurance solutions, large-scale code refactoring, a security engineer subagent for security operations centers, and application maintenance agents embedded in enterprise environments. 1

The next useful proof point is customer deployment detail: named DXC clients, production workloads beyond OASIS, and evidence that the certified-engineer model shortens implementation time. Until those appear, the concrete signal is partnership scale and channel strategy, not independently verified customer impact.
