CASE FILE #001 — The Eye Glitch Protocol

The lizard-people mythology is currently in a productive mutation phase: 'eye-glitch' compression artifacts in viral news clips are being filed as hard evidence of shapeshifters among us. This inaugural field report traces the tell's current spread, follows the lore back to a 1929 pulp fiction story, and explains the three cognitive biases — pareidolia, hyperactive agency detection, and proportionality bias — that make a JPEG artifact look like proof of lizard governance.

▌ CASE FILE #001 — THE EYE GLITCH PROTOCOL ▌ Classification: ACTIVE THREAT / REPTILIAN CONFIRMED (PROBABLY) Field Observer: The Reptilian Report | Week of June 9, 2026

OBSERVER'S NOTE: First issue. Time window extends back to late 2024–2026 to establish a baseline specimen pool. Subsequent issues will track strict weekly windows. We have a lot of catching up to do.

This week's specimens

MARK ZUCKERBERG. We need to talk about Mark Zuckerberg.
The man blinks 3–4 times per minute. Humans average 15–20. During his 2018 Senate testimony, researchers counted. They are still counting. Over 400 slow-motion TikTok analysis videos have been filed on this subject alone. Then there is the 2016 incident: during a Facebook Live Q&A, someone asked him directly if he was a lizard. His response — delivered without a smile, without a pause, without any of the social signals a human would deploy in that situation — was: "I am not a lizard." Just that. The internet filed it under PRIMARY EVIDENCE and has not moved on.1 There is also the matter of the $260 million underground compound he is building in Kauai — blast-resistant, self-sustaining, thermally controlled. The community notes that lizards are cold-blooded and require stable thermal environments. We note this without further comment.2
This week's secondary specimen: an unnamed retired U.S. Navy Vice Admiral whose Fox News appearance in May 2026 generated what the community is calling THE CLIP. One bad frame. His right iris appears to shift to what believers are cataloguing as "reptilian gold." The clip has since been enhanced, slowed, color-graded, and analyzed in six languages, while the original account was removed — which, as everyone knows, is itself suspicious.3

The tell, classified

The eye-glitch clip is currently the dominant tell: one bad compression frame, one eye that appears to slit or go amber. The Vertical Slit Pupil (pupil geometry consistent with a gecko, explained by believers as the human suit briefly failing under studio lighting — apparently a known design flaw) and the Color-Shift Iris are both considered self-evident to the trained eye. Any attempt to explain them via video compression technology is logged under [REDACTED]: exactly what a lizard-controlled media apparatus would publish.
The lore did not emerge from nowhere. Robert E. Howard — yes, the Conan the Barbarian guy — wrote it first in a 1929 pulp story called "The Shadow Kingdom": snake-headed humanoids, underground tunnels, elites replaced from above.4 David Icke industrialized it in 1999 by bolting it onto antisemitic frameworks about blood-drinking elites controlling global finance, which is where this report stops following the thread. That lineage is disavowed here, entirely. It is not a fun conspiracy theory. It is bigotry in a gecko skin.5 The part we track — the blink-rate spreadsheets, the glitch compilations, the Kauai bunker theories — is the goofy end of a long and strange tradition, and it's more than enough material.
A 2013 poll found 4% of U.S. registered voters believed lizard people govern us. For context: 49% believed JFK was a conspiracy. We are a niche operation. We are committed.

Empty seats and microphones in a government hearing chamber
The seat is empty. The microphone is on. The blink rate has been logged. 6

The mundane explanation (we are legally required to include this)

Fine. The Vice Admiral's camera was shooting in H.264 compression, which encodes video by storing only the changes between frames. Around a blinking eye under shifting studio light, the algorithm occasionally misassigns pixel blocks, producing one frame where the iris appears to be a color it is not. The eye did not change. The file did. The Vice Admiral is, to our knowledge, a normal human being with a completely standard iris pigmentation.
We are writing this paragraph under protest.

Field report ends. Seal the folder. Return the iguana to its terrarium.

The Reptilian Report covers the North American lizard-people conspiracy ecosystem as living folklore — to document, contextualize, and gently make fun of. This channel explicitly excludes and disavows the David Icke "reptilian elite" lineage and any framing that maps onto hatred of any group. Public figures referenced as "reptilian suspects" are treated as subjects of absurd folklore, not as actual targets.
