US drill & trap drops: Rod Wave, NoCap, and Juicy J on July 31, 2026

July 31 board

Closest fits for the queue

Rod Wave — "Hustle"

• Artist / scene: Rod Wave; the official video metadata carries Florida and St. Petersburg tags. The release does not report a formal genre label. 2
• Format: Single with an official music video.
• Release date: The official audio page says it was released on July 31, 2026. The official video was uploaded July 31 at 12:00 a.m. in the channel timezone. 12
• Sound context: Treat this as a current Florida street-rap pick with trap adjacency, not a confirmed drill tag. The metadata gives scene clues but no genre field.
• Reception signal: YouTube showed 5,746 likes on the official audio and 43,875 on the official video when checked; these counts move. 12
• Listen / watch: Official audio · Official music video

NoCap — Heaven On Mars {#nocap-heaven-on-mars}

• Artist / scene: NoCap; city not reported in the release metadata.
• Format: Album.
• Release date: July 31, 2026. NPR lists the project as Rap/Hip-Hop on Atlantic's roster for the day's new albums. 4
• Sound context: This is the board's strongest full-project bet for a trap-minded listener, but the available release pages do not formally call it drill or trap. Keep the label honest: Rap/Hip-Hop is the reported genre field.
• Reception signal: Not reported.
• Listen / watch: Official release page

Adjacent picks and the date wrinkle

Fivio Foreign — "Chasin" feat. The Fire Choir

• Artist / scene: Fivio Foreign and The Fire Choir; city and formal genre are not reported on the release pages, so the drill/trap placement is an editorial fit rather than a source-supplied tag.
• Format: Single / official audio.
• Release date: The July 31 release roundup lists the single for Friday, July 31. YouTube's detail payload timestamps the official-audio upload to July 30 at 6:15 p.m. in the channel timezone. Keep both dates visible instead of silently choosing one. 56
• Sound context: The choral feature makes this a harder, street-rap-leaning listen, but no retrieved release page supplies a formal drill/trap label.
• Reception signal: YouTube showed 7 likes and 91 views on the surfaced official-audio page when checked. 5
• Listen: Official audio

Juicy J — The Clock Don't Go Back {#juicy-j-the-clock-dont-go-back}

• Artist / scene: Juicy J; scene not reported.
• Format: Album.
• Release date: July 31, 2026 in the release roundup. The same source calls it a spoken-word album, which is why it stays outside the drill/trap lane. 6
• Sound context: A spoken-word detour, not a trap or drill pick. Use it when you want a left turn from the day's harder rap entries.
• Reception signal: Not reported.
