The most reactive element — corrosive, relentless, capable of reacting with nearly everything including noble gases.
Fluorine is the most electronegative element. It etches glass, reacts with noble gases, and forms Teflon's impossibly slippery surface. Hydrofluoric acid dissolves glass and bone. Even in tiny amounts, fluoride strengthens tooth enamel.
