Frontier AI is moving into the places that determine whether models can be used: distribution, robot control, enterprise permissions, and contracts.

Tencent released and open-sourced Hy4 preview, a 770B model with 49B active parameters and a context window above one million tokens. Tencent also reported a 2.99/4.00 score from 163 experts across 203 engineering tasks, plus 31.8% higher end-to-end throughput than its baseline. 1

Perceptron launched Isaac 0.5, a 36B open-weight model that combines video understanding, embodied reasoning, and robot control. The company released the weights and code, while Business Wire reported its 97.2% average LIBERO success result. 23

Salesforce and Anthropic announced Claudeforce, which connects Claude to Salesforce data, workflows, rules, actions, and governance. Salesforce in Claude launches with 37 prebuilt sales skills, with pilots live and open beta expected in September 2026. 4

Reuters reported that OpenAI plans to end its agreement providing models to Cursor after SpaceX acquired the coding tool. OpenAI cited uncertainty about whether SpaceX would use the technology within its terms of service. 5

The shared direction is concrete: follow who can run a model, what it can control, which rules govern its actions, and who can withdraw access.
