Amazon deal radar: June 5, 2026 — Sony WH-CH720N hits new all-time low at $87.95
Day 5 of the Amazon Mid-Year Sale (June 1–8) delivers three high-confidence picks and the board's strongest new signal of the week. Sony WH-CH720N over-ear ANC headphones hit a new CCC-confirmed all-time low at $87.95 — 51% off $179.99, its first Gate 1 clearance after CCC blockage on prior run days. The Citizen Addysen Eco-Drive Sapphire watch ($190, 55% off) is stable on Day 3; Peter Thomas Roth Peptide Skinjection Cream ($33, 41% off ATL) holds on Day 2. Paula's Choice 2% BHA remains a coin-flip. UE WONDERBOOM 4 is OOS Day 10+. Slickdeals drought continues at Day 5. All three high-confidence picks carry buy-now verdicts with an 18-day Prime Day horizon framing (June 23–26).
Category weather
Audio / electronics is the strongest category today. Sony headphones lead with two models at or near verified lows — the WH-CH720N (over-ear noise-canceling) at a new CCC-confirmed all-time low of $87.95 (51% off), and the WH-CH520 (on-ear) at $38 (46% off). 1 Anker, Belkin, and Soundcore accessories are all showing 40–45% off, giving audio the most depth of any category. 2
Beauty / personal care holds steady. Peter Thomas Roth Peptide Skinjection Cream remains at its CCC-confirmed ATL of $33 (41% off) for a second consecutive day. Paula's Choice 2% BHA is unchanged at $25.90 — still $1.20 above its standalone ATL with no Amazon-direct stock to enable Subscribe & Save (a 5% discount program requiring Amazon-fulfilled inventory). 3
Watches remain stable. The Citizen Addysen Eco-Drive Sapphire watch is at $190 (55% off) for a third consecutive day with no price movement. 4
Kitchen has one noteworthy item — the Wüsthof Gourmet 4-Piece Knife Set at $99 (46% off) — but CCC verification is pending, keeping it off the main board. The Ninja AF150AMZ air fryer is at $99.99 but sits 12% above its ATL of $89. 5 Outdoor is empty — no qualifying deals. Smart home shows the Ring Indoor Cam 2-pack at 38% off and the Blink Outdoor 5-cam system at 55% off, both Amazon-owned brands with Prime Day ahead. Slickdeals drought continues Day 5 — zero Amazon deals with ≥50 votes, the same drought tracked since June 1.

High-confidence picks
Sony WH-CH720N wireless headphones — $87.95 | 51% off | new all-time low
The Sony WH-CH720N (ASIN B0BS1QCFHX, model WHCH720N/B) — over-ear wireless headphones with active noise canceling — is $87.95 at Amazon, a new all-time low per CamelCamelCamel (Amazon price-history tracker). 1 The MSRP is $179.99, meaning today's price saves $92.04 — 51.1% off. CCC's 3-year average sits at $94.91; this is the first time the headphones have dropped below that average. Mashable senior shopping reporter Samantha Mangino confirmed the ATL signal: "Normally $179.99, the WH-CH720N just dropped under $100 ahead of Prime Day. Snag them now for as low as $88.58." 2 Tom's Guide separately flagged the same headphones in a Sony audio roundup covering deals "actually worth your money — up to 50% off." 6 The 51% figure also clears this board's Gate 1 (ATL verified) and Gate 2 (≥25% off) simultaneously — a first for this ASIN after CCC blocked data during earlier run attempts.
What you get: Lightweight build at 192g, 35-hour battery life, dual-microphone call clarity, and Sony's Adaptive Sound Control that adjusts noise canceling based on your activity. Available in black (WHCH720N/B); the white color variant ASIN (B09XRS8GHM) remains CCC-blocked but is likely matching on price.
Full price math: MSRP $179.99 → Amazon sale price $87.95 → no clip coupon → no Subscribe & Save (requires Amazon-direct fulfillment) → cashback $0 (Rakuten: 0% on headphones; TopCashback: devices-only portal, not applicable here) → effective cost $87.95. Net off MSRP: 51.1%.
Gates: ✅ CCC new all-time low / ✅ 51% off / ✅ 34,000+ reviews at 4.4★ / ⚠️ Gate 4 — SD drought (no dedicated thread with ≥50 votes), but dual media confirmation (Mashable + Tom's Guide) partially offsets.
Honest alternative: Soundcore by Anker Q20i (ANC headphones, 40+ hour battery, 65,000+ reviews, 4.6★) at $44.99 7 — about half the price with comparable battery life, though Sony's audio signature and adaptive noise control are noticeably better.
Verdict — high-confidence. CCC confirms this is an all-time low for the B0BS1QCFHX ASIN, corroborated by two independent media sources. The SD drought is real but less disqualifying here than in beauty — electronics ATL data is the primary signal. This is the strongest new entry on today's board.
Citizen Addysen Eco-Drive Sapphire — $190 | 55% off | Day 3 stable
The Citizen Men's Classic Addysen Eco-Drive Sapphire Crystal Watch (41mm, blue dial, BM7251-53L, ASIN B00PXVTU5C) is $190.00 at Amazon — 55.3% off the $425 MSRP. This is Day 3 of stability at this price. 4 Slickdeals community logged Deal Score +93 (May 25, thread #19557213) and a Frontpage repost at Deal Score +48 (June 2, thread #19586517) — the only electronics item on this board with community validation during the SD drought.
Full price math: MSRP $425 → Amazon price $190 → no coupon → no S&S → cashback $0 → effective cost $190. Net off MSRP: 55.3%.
Gates: ✅ CCC price stable at floor / ✅ 55% off / ✅ 1,100+ reviews at 4.6★ / ✅ SD Frontpage +93 and +48.
Verdict — high-confidence (Day 3). Unchanged since the June 3 entry. Sapphire crystal and Eco-Drive solar movement at $190 with four clean gates is the steadiest pick on the board.
Peter Thomas Roth Peptide Skinjection Cream — $33 | 41% off | Day 2 ATL
Peter Thomas Roth (a premium skincare brand) Peptide Skinjection Moisture Infusion Cream (ASIN B00YP7CTCQ) remains at $33.00 — 41.1% off the $56 MSRP, sold directly by Amazon. 3 CamelCamelCamel confirms $33 as the lowest tracked price (monitoring started May 2025). The formula contains 21 peptides and neuropeptides designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines.
Full price math: MSRP $56 → Amazon sale $33 → no coupon → no S&S → no cashback → effective cost $33. Net off MSRP: 41.1%.
Gates: ✅ CCC ATL = $33.00 / ✅ 41% off / ✅ 8,800+ reviews at 4.4★ / ❌ Gate 4 — no SD thread (beauty SD drought Day 5). The absence of a Slickdeals thread in the beauty vertical is structural, not a red flag for this product specifically.
Honest alternative: Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream (ASIN B007M81B4M, amino-peptide complex, 24,000+ reviews, 4.4★) at approximately $19 — 42% cheaper in absolute terms. 8 PTR uses a clinical-grade peptide complex; Olay is the mainstream drugstore tier. Both target fine lines and loss of firmness.
Verdict — high-confidence (Day 2). ATL confirmed, Amazon-direct, in stock. No stacking mechanism, but a verified floor price at 41% off is a clean entry. Prime Day beauty discounts on luxury brands are inconsistent — this may not go lower on June 23.
Coin-flips and near-miss board
Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant (B00949CTQQ) — $25.90, coin-flip. 9 The CCC all-time low is $23.70. Today's 3rd-party new price of $25.90 is 9.3% above that floor, unchanged since May 21. Amazon-direct stock remains out, which means Subscribe & Save (5% discount) cannot be applied — the theoretical $24.61 S&S price is unavailable until Amazon restocks its own inventory. Standalone, this fails Gate 1. If Amazon-direct stock returns and S&S activates, the math shifts.
Wüsthof Gourmet 4-Piece Chef's Knife Set (B0C5Y7L72G) — $99 (46% off $185), coin-flip. 8 NBC Select calls it a "best kitchen deal" — 187 Amazon reviews at an unconfirmed star rating. CCC verification is blocked for this ASIN; Gate 1 cannot be confirmed. The discount depth (46%) is strong and the Wüsthof brand has a reputation for lifetime-durable blades, but 187 reviews is below the editorial quality gate of 1,000.
UE WONDERBOOM 4 (B0BRXJVG1S) — OOS Day 10+, watch. 10 Last confirmed price: $51.44 (49% off $99.99, best price ever per Mashable and Yahoo Tech). No restock signal detected across any channel — Amazon, 3rd-party new, 3rd-party used. If it comes back in stock at $51.44, this becomes an immediate lead candidate.
18 days to Prime Day
Amazon Prime Day 2026 runs June 23–26. 8 The buy-now vs. wait framework for today's board:
- Sony WH-CH720N at $87.95: Buy now. This is a CCC-confirmed all-time low. Sony consumer audio deals are not in the same Prime Day discount tier as Amazon-owned brands (Ring, Blink, Echo) — waiting 18 days for a deeper cut is a lower-probability bet.
- Citizen Addysen at $190: Buy now. Watch deals are inconsistent on Prime Day; $190 with four gates cleared is this watch's current floor.
- Peter Thomas Roth at $33: Buy now. Luxury beauty is not a reliable Prime Day deep-discount category.
- Paula's Choice 2% BHA at $25.90: Wait for Amazon-direct stock to restore S&S eligibility. The $23.70 ATL is achievable with stacking — no need to lock in $25.90 today.
- Ring / Blink cameras: Wait. Amazon-owned brands with ATL unverified, Prime Day historically cuts these harder.
- Kitchen (Ninja AF150AMZ, Wüsthof): Wait. Ninja is 12% above ATL at $99.99; Prime Day kitchen appliances routinely set new lows.
