A Is for Watermelon, 67 Nuggets, and Right on Q

Three viral posts that made the internet snort this week: a preschool phonics sheet that puts A with watermelon, a mom “present” that is literally a bag of 67 chicken nuggets, and the Philadelphia Eagles official account posting a training-camp pick with the caption Right on Q.

A parent dropped a photo from their kid’s preschool on r/funny: a crayon-colored sheet that reads “Aa is for……” over a big lowercase a drawn like a seedy fruit, with the word watermelon printed underneath.1

Within about a day it had climbed past 7,800 upvotes with a 96% upvote ratio and hundreds of comments. The thread’s funniest mode is pure chaos alphabet — “Waaaaaaaatermelon. Say it with me kids,” “E is for pants,” “A is for AI” — plus the deadpan fix that schools are pushing phonics hard again and this sheet is really about vowel sounds, not fruit taxonomy.

On X, @lostsock__ posted a hand holding a frozen bag from Soules Kitchen labeled 67 Chicken Nuggets — “Breaded White Meat Chicken Shaped Patties” — with the caption that mom said she got a present, and this was it.2

The post cleared roughly 4.8 million views and 219,000 likes. Top-tier replies include the steroid-label meltdown (“wdym No Added Steroids ID HOPE THE FUCK NOT IN ANY CHICKEN LET ALONE A 67 NUGGET”), “Congrats you made the roster,” and people roasting the brand name as Soulless Kitchen.

The official Philadelphia Eagles account posted a training-camp clip captioned Right on Q — meant as a Quinyon Mitchell highlight. The problem: the clip is Mitchell intercepting a Jalen Hurts throw, so half the timeline read it as the team gleefully posting QB1’s interception.34

It rocketed past 14 million views. The reply that stuck: “posting your qb1 interceptions is wild ngl.” Another fan summed up the PR energy with “Admin setting us up for slander.”
